The printer would have been an excellent investment if the above mentioned title error was not there. It frequently shows paper is jam when the printer itself doesn't take in the paper and always gives me an error saying paper mismatch. It can solve its own printing issue as I have to manually reset every time I print a document as it shows paper mismatch. I feel there is some terrible issue with the software and internal hardware of this particular product model. Other wise, the printing is fine, wifi is a bit slow but it's manageable and manual scanning is good. Overall I would have given a 4 star if there were no error issues. Another note is that - whoever brought this printer without the extended warranty- would find themselves in a very tough spot as the amazon would provide any support. Since, I had an extended warranty- they were able to attend my issue But given the circumstances, time and energy consumption it takes, I am definitely not happy with it. I have now ordered for a replacement of the printer. Hope it works fine when I receive it. I never had any issues with HP printer products before but I guess- with all the cost cutting happening in the company, I feel not proper R & D was put into this product before releasing out in the public market for sale. In the end the consumers would suffer for a bad product and the brand would take a hit for lack of product testing they have done.

It is wifi printer where you can send per email to the printer or mobile device or laptop. If you use wifi same network needs to used no repeater, vpn. that could be a hassle. it is with ink (not laser) but comes with a lot of ink that would last 1000s of pages. print quality is inline with similar brands, models. It is on long run quite cheap as the original HP ink is very cheap for such "tank" models. to give you a feeling a 200aed printer the ink would cost also 200aed where here ink cost 30aed per bottle!!! in the uae it is/was around 550-650 aed a great price/performance but after covid the price goes up. very unreliable printer because of constant wifi disconnect problems and lost connection. I strongly recommend one with cable, nice old and reliable!!!!

I got it in Jan 2021 and still using it. Wonderful to use initially difficult to use and understand but once you start it works smoothly. I print, scan and do all my office stuff. Must for home use.

The printer build materials is quite flimsy and thin, it appears to be quite delicate and can't say how long it will to start breaking. The print quality is average and the print speed is slow, often it doesn't start printing even after giving the print command, WiFi connected and paper is loaded. The loading of paper is not at good, the papers are loaded vertically at the back of the printer and frequently the papers get jammed or don't move after giving print command. If you have other options then better avoid this printer but if not then you can try your luck with this one. P.s: The printer set up is quite cumbersome as well.

It really does the job and lives up to its name smart tank. Still going pretty strong after 2 years and refilled only for the first time opening.

From day 1 after it's delivered I already struggled completing the setup before even though my laptop and printer are connected to the same wifi network it can't find the printer. After many retry and reinstalling it finally worked. After 2 days it started the craziness, it keeps showing offline even though it's on and connected to the Wi-Fi! I can only connect if I do WiFi direct to printer, other than that does not work. All fix tutorials by HP and other videos online does not work too! It is such a waste of money! It's so depressing I want to throw it on our 18th floor! Give me back my money! This HP Smart ink 515 is the worst! I gave it a chance, I thought it was my fault but it's not! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE!
