Morphy Richards Equip Jug Kettle, 1.7L, 3Kw Rapid boil, Removeable Limescale Filter, Illuminated Water Gauge, Brushed Stainless Steel Case, 102786

This is a very beautiful kettle, and boils very quickly. Lovely design, and easy to keep clean. I like the on switch which turns blue when the kettle is switched on., and at the speed it boils, would consider it to be very energy efficient, plus not much water is needed to boil for a cuppa. Although I’m rather deaf, I do find it a little noisy when it starts to heat up, but that is a minor gripe. It’s also a very reasonable price for such good quality. Very easy to use, and I certainly would recommend It.

I liked the look of this kettle so I read the reviews, mostly positive compared to many others I had looked at, so this is the one I finally purchased. It's very lightweight when empty of course and even a full kettle of water (first time you use it you need to fill it up, boil and discard the water) it feels nicely balanced and not too heavy. The switch lights up but the viewing window for the water doesn't and it's pretty impossible to see, you have to give it a little shake to see the level; I was going to drop a star for that but because you can't have everything and a light up viewing window would cost more and may fail eventually I will leave the rating at 5 stars. The lid pops open very satisfyingly, I'm very happy with how wide it opens and the big button that opens it. The kettle of course has a filter in the spout that you can release and clean and then replace it. I really like the look of it, it looks pretty sleek, I wouldn't say it seems as robust as the kettle it's replacing which is 15 years old but that one is much heavier; I would say this one feels a little more delicate I don't think you should bash it around too much but nevertheless that means it's lighter so I'm happy about that. If you're really sick of looking at kettles I think your best bet is this one for the price, the look of it and the functionality it's all there, obviously let down by the viewing window; if that's really important to you then maybe look for something else but otherwise Morphy Richards Equip is a safe choice.

I really like the kettle, it looks good and boils quickly. However, what I do t like is my husbands reaction everytime it on as he complains about how loud it is! It’s true it is very loud - doesn’t bother me but if you or someone in your home doesn’t like loud sounds then don’t buy!

part of a set of 2 with toaster, both have performed well over a long period of time, so durable and affordable plus they look pretty cool, highly recommended

Great buy. So far this Kettle is a dream; stylish, robust and quick to boil. Would recommend to friends and family.

Bought this kettle about 9 months ago. No problem so far. It boils water rapidly and is a bit noisy. Hence it is easy to tell the boiling has stopped when we are in a different room! One possible improvement is to make it easier to see the water level through the fill gauge.

Kettle is quite stylish with a big capacity. We quite liked it even though it's noisy. However it stopped working within less than 6 months. Contacted Morphy Richards who were helpful but couldn't fix it so asked for a refund. Because their customer service has been good, I decided to give them another chance and reordered the same kettle. Fingers crossed it will last a lot longer this time.

Looks nice, is quick, has a great price but it's noisy compared to a Russell hobbs quiet boil kettle.

Superb quality . Best for the bucks. It looks lovely too in my kitchen. It has nice filter for teas, I loved it

I am enjoying it since I was looking for something stainless steel kettle...

This kettle came with a European plug so had to buy an adaptor. OK kettle though noisey.

Hierve muy rápido, pero es un poco ruidoso y, debido al ancho de la base, es difícil juzgar la pequeña cantidad de agua. Compré este porque tengo la tostadora a juego.
