Great switch for smaller speaker wire
The switch works very well and allows you to play each set separately or at the same time. The feel is good when switching and feels like quality. The plate fits well and has a good finish of white. Fits a standard electric box and the was room for all the wires no problem. It's going to be hard to use larger speaker wire. I used a cheap 16 gauge as it's for garage speakers or patio speaker. I was able to strip very small end of the wire and lock them in good with no wire hanging out of port. I tried to use pin connectors but the ports were to close together to get them all in there. I will be buying another when I install the pool to control speakers out there. For the money you can't go wrong.

How to deal with small wire posts
The build quality of this switch is adequate and the concept is perfect for a home with Decora wall plates. But as most all other reviewers have stated, the wire gauge is pretty small. Since this switch has 12 speaker posts, I recommend buying a small length of solid copper 18-6 thermostat wire and transition to your heavier gauge speaker wire 1 or 2 fee away from the switch.

Does what it is supposed to do.
I use this to switch between the outdoor deck speakers and the speakers in my garage, so far so good. Yeah the terminal strip is small, but you are connecting 12 wires in the space of a common light switch. I used 16 ga wire with no problem. I did not experience the wires coming loose as I tightened other ones as some reviewers have stated. I think the terminal strip is a little tougher than what people think, I tightened the screws pretty tight using a Snap On precision mini phillips head screwdriver. The size of the terminals dictate that you only strip away about 1/8" to 3/16" of insulation on the speaker wire, anything longer than that does not seat well. Like other reviewers, I found that the switch is too deep for a regular switch box. I had an old plastic project box laying around that I cut out using the plate cover for a template. I also used this template to cut out the back of the box and the piece of MDF that the box is mounted on. That was the only way I could get enough depth for the switch to fit. It's not really visible in these pics, but I drilled a 3/4" hole in the plastic box and used an old piece of automotive heater hose cut to size as a grommet. The wires are pretty snug in the hose, hopefully this keeps spiders and such out of the box. Operationally, the switch works fine and does what it is supposed to do. If in six months or so it breaks or malfunctions, I will update this review. I've used Pyle products before with good results. You just have to remember that you are buying something for about a third of the price of other name brand products.

Recommend
Surprised how easily it was to setup. Does make a clicking sound when you turn it on. Not overly loud though. Shows up as BT not PyleUSA when you try to pair. Using 4 ohm speakers so it has significant sound. Down loaded wavelet app to increase the bottom end.

The switch is working perfect
I thought I was having a problem with the switch. Turns out the switch is working great. With the help of customer support I realized the reason the switch seemed to not work correctly. I followed the tech support suggestions and discovered the problem. I corrects it and the switch works great. I have preferred other switches and speakers from Them and they all have worked great. Very pleased with there products and support. I will continue to make purchases with confidence.

Works--best for short runs and one set of speakers or the other
This is a switch. It works as a switch. What I really wanted was an A or B but not both box but those are hard to come by. Most people want to distribute audio to more than one zone. Bear in mind that the impedance the amplifier will see is half the average of the two pairs of speakers if you want to play both sets simultaneously. E. g. with two pairs of 8 ohm speakers going the amp will see 4 ohms. If you need something that will result in a low impedance load, i. e. playing more than one pair of speakers simultaneously, you probably want a more expensive box that does impedance matching. I'm not mounting it in the wall. I'm going to buy an outlet box at the hardware store and keep it on a table. One more thing. This is good for short runs. The largest wire it will accommodate is 16 gauge. The wires go through a hole and are held in place by a screw. That's adequate for 48 feet, more or less. That's well within my requirements. If you need a longer run you're going to have to spend more money for a box that has banana plug terminals or bare screws. Since I have two pairs of speakers and never plan to play both at the same time I'm happy. If I accidentally turn both pairs of speakers on, my amp will handle the low impedance load for a short time, especially since I doubt I often drive the amp past 5 watts. Cost was an important factor to me. There's a reason that this device costs significantly less than most two zone switches. I'm OK with it because it does what I want it to do.

Too Fragile and Connections Fail
Do not buy this. Absolute garbage. If you intend to out this in a wall box it won’t go easy. The board and buttons cannot have any pressure on them or they don’t work. The wire connections are not secure. Look elsewhere, Pyle should be embarrassed to sell such garbage.
