The Cross Calais is my all time favorite pen. It is equal or superior to my Waterman, and Mont Blanc pens. The size, slightly heavier weight and soft, smooth writing flow are pure luxury. I have permanent ulnar damage in my dominant hand, so I can only write for a little while before my handwriting degrades and begins to look like a little kid is writing it. Then I have to take a break. The Cross Calais is so comfortable that it makes writing notes, cards and other messages much more tolerable. This Calais Shine Ballpoint Pen in Chrome is a very hansom addition to my collection of Cross Calais pens!

I simply love this pen and use it every day in work! My first cross medalist lasted for 15 years and I expect this to do the same. Great weight, perfectly balanced. Remember to use genuine cross refills if you want it to write well.
