Good quality mouthwash. The added "magic" element that shows what you spit out clearly is fun and it leaves your mouth really clean. It's also not too strong like other mouthwash with alcohol so more gentle I feel. Flavor is also nice and it is great value for money.

It's nice to look at, you see the bits in the sink and all of that, but the effect doesn't last as long as other mouthwashes I've tried and loved. I'm always looking for the next best thing but this is not it. Might be ok for someone else

Always used Dentyl after being recommended by a dentist years ago. This unicorn one is the top flavour of the range and is really lovely to taste. I understand that Dently uses few harsh chemicals and as such is and every day wash.

hard to buy the mint versions but this one works, sorted toothache out and leaves breath very fresh. sometimes expensive.

If you dislike the stinging sensation you get from other reputable brands of mouthwash, Dentyl mouthwash does not give you that same sensation after use. The dual action works by combining mouthwash with oils which help to freshen breath alongside removing harmful bacteria. This is why it’ll have two distinct layers and must be shaken well before use. This particular flavour ‘mystical mint’ does hold true, and the ‘unicorn edition’ packaging adds some light glitter to the bottle and has a distinct colour, a little bit of harmless fun and makes it more appealing and fun for children as well. The mouthwash contains 225ppm F of fluoride which is good for helping re-mineralise your teeth, though its a very tiny amount of fluoride but will help not completely wash away the fluoride content from your toothpaste. It also contains Cetylpyridinium Chloride which is scientifically proven to help combat harmful bacteria and improve gum health. I remember Dentyl having a cleaver marketing pitch years back which is still used that says it has ‘visible results’ and you’ll ’see the results’ in the sink. It is basically the oils used that change colour after you’ve used the product in your mouth. There may be some truth to it, and whilst it is a nice ideal to think ‘wow, its removed this much bad stuff from my mouth’, it is just a by-product of using oils in the product. Overall, its a good mouthwash that has a gentle flavour, no stinging sensation and leaves your mouth with a smooth light layer of oil to help freshen breath.
