Nice product but cost is too much

I really like this Neutrogena Triple Age Repair Moisturizer because it feels rich but not heavy and absorbs nicely into the skin. It keeps my skin hydrated all day, smooths out dry areas, and gives a healthy, fresh look. I also love that it has SPF 25, so I get moisture and sun protection in one step. Have bought this several times over the years for my mum. She loved it. However this recently purchase came in damaged unsealed boxes. The cream inside was white and odourless. The color of the cream from previous purchases were biege and had a pleasant fragrance. My mum's afraid to use the cream for fear that it's a fake.
