What a saving from ordering on here rather than direct A+

You MUST secure this regulator to the BBQ with a line of some sort, as it can be a bit loose connecting into the BBQ. If using over the water, it will eventually fall in, requiring a scuba expedition. Don't ask me how I know.

So regulator is perfect, but missing the 2 “O”rings that you need to seal the unit to the BBQ. I had some here, so I got it to work.

While I felt the first valve should never have failed due to such low usage, I finally broke down and bought the Type 1 X-low Output Valve replacement. The color was changed from the old one, and I wasn't sure about the numbers on it, but the old one cooked too hot anyway, so I opted for the "low" output one for a field test. Best $35 I have spent. After 4 years of staring at my grill hanging off my deck, I quickly changed the valve, added a 1# gas cylinder, and fired it up. What can I say about a perfect steak! Wish I had replaced this a long time ago!

Better than the original as this one has a lower heat range so it’s easier to control the temperature on my Magma Cabrio grill
