Does it clean clear retainers? Can it remove cloudiness from clear retainers?

They clean retainers very well. If the retainers are filmy then the Retainer Brite will bring it back to original clear finish.  But if they are discolored they will only clean and remove the germs.  Sometimes Using the toothbrush will aid in reviving the original clarity.   The procedure is simple and this will improve your retainers cleanliness and germ free protection each time you use it. Does this work with standard Hawley style retainers or are they only for use with invisalign?

Accepted Answer

Retainer Brite will work with both Hawleys, Regainers,Splints, Mouth Guards and   Clear / Invisalign retainers. I used to make Orthodontic appliances for the Orthodontist I worked for and Retainer Brite was the only cleaner we gave to our patients. I use it myself.

Question 4

I use a mouthguard at night.  Is it safe to leave the mouthguard in this solution all day until I need it again at night?

I wouldn't recommend soaking the retainer that many hours.   The chemicals in retainer Brite only need up to 20 minutes to work in warm water.   Not sure if it could deteriorate the retainer over time.   My recommendation is to drop the tablet into a watertight holder with warm water and retainer while you get ready for bed and within those 15-20 minutes your retainer is fresh and clean for bedtime.
