This is the most protection money can buy for your iPhone XR. Not just the back, also the front. I’ve dropped this cover on to almost all surfaces and from heights ranging 1 to 13 ft. NOTHING happened to the phone or weirdly enough even to the cover. Military grade protection, however - the rubbers are very hard to slip into your denim pockets, the phone turns into a monstrous size and your friends think you have a laptop in your pocket :D. But it looks, feels and totally is “premium”

It’s great quality yes, but… Took me about 10 minutes to force my phone into the cover due to the super hard inside frame of the case. The “stand” is useless as you basically have to balance the phone to make it stand, so you have no way of “looking” at your screen unless your eyes are on the same level as yourphone. Tried to remove the phone from the case which is IMPOSSIBLE!

These are the best phone cases for a person who is hard on their phones. My husband works in construction and is always dropping his phone from all heights.. Plus he has a bad habit of falling asleep with his phone in his hand at the edge of the bed. He usually wakes up with a jolt when his phone falls to the floor. I would definitely buy one of these again. This case has saved us hundreds in phone replacement costs

This is my third or fourth Otterbox Defender. In the entire time I've owned one, I've never had any damage to my phone. I tend to be butterfingered and drop my phone — I find the iPhone finish to be quite slippery — but the Defender covers me. Still, when I got a new iPhone XR right before pandemic work-from-home began, I thought I might do without a case for a while. It's not like I was going to be out and about, walking on concrete in parking garages and tile in public restrooms. And the thing about the Defender case is, it's very bulky. That's part of why it's so protective. It's kind of inconvenient that way. So I tried using the phone without protection. Three months later I had dropped the phone plenty of times onto the more-forgiving-than-concrete-but-not-carpeted floors of my apartment and cracked the screen twice. So I had the screen replaced, determined my naked-phone experiment a failure and ordered another Defender. It's easy to hold onto; the silicone has a textured surface. It's bulky like the others -- even bulkier . Unlike the previous cases I've owned, it doesn't have a built-in screen protector. That's an improvement as far as I'm concerned; the screen protector on the other cases was scratch-prone and water would get underneath it, interfering with the touchscreen. I put a glass screen protector on the phone, and with the combination of the Otterbox and the screen protector, my phone should be pretty much protected from even my butterfingers. Bottom line: If you want serious drop protection for your phone, and don't mind the extra bulk, this is a case you can count on.

It’s my fourth or fifth Otterbox Defender case. I love them, not cheap by far, but they look so cool and really are the best protective and stylish case out there. I’d highly recommend if you don’t mind paying for it.
