Retrospective Scences from a Sentimental World: Background Illustrations and Scenes by Up-and-Coming Artists

I love to see this book's artwork for inspiration on scenery. So many styles, and all of them look amazing! If you have “Everyday Scenes from a Parallel World” book, I'd recommend also getting this one. The scenes are just as charming and amazingly done.

Of all the art books I have, this is the book I go though when I have a bad day, a bad mood or just feel like I have lost all hope for the future. I've been thru it like 100 times already. Thank you PIE International!

I spotted this book a couple of years ago in a Japanese library in Los Angeles and it was like finding a treasure, by that time I couldn't afford it, neither pack it in my returning bag. I'm so happy I found it here! Totally recommended for anybody looking for inspiration: beautiful color palettes, astonishing detailed drawings, nostalgic environments.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this book, and it's illustrations. Most of the illustration books that I've bought tend to run on the small side, making it harder to see intricate details, especially when they cram several images onto one page. The art is crisp, and i have no complaints on the quality whatsover.
