Keeps you cool! I was already in the habit of wetting my cap in hot weather to keep cool, but the material of this hat takes it a step further and keeps you cooler longer. Kept me from overheating in Florida in August! Very nice quality. Highly recommend!

This is my second purchase of this hat. I love it! you just pour on some water, wring it out, shake it a few times and your head stays cool for a lot longer than just any cap.

I got this hat for my boyfriend who coaches tennis and is outdoors a lot. He loves the hat because it's so lightweight. He has not tried to soak it in cold water and wear it yet, so I don't know how that works, but it works well for him as is. My only complaint, and the reason it's only getting 4 stars, is that it's not the absolute best quality; the stitching isn't totally straight and there are a few loose strings. For my boyfriend, he didn't care because the hat will get destroyed by the sun eventually anyways, but I did want to note that it's not the absolute best quality hat.

I have a large melon. This is one of the few running hats I've found that fits at all, as well as comfortably. I've purchased 2 of these, both the grey color, so I'd have an extra to rotate. I have not had any issues with either smell or shrinkage. On the contrary, my first hat has held it's shape thru many runs and multiple washings. As far as smell.....I sweat like I just jumped in a pool. If anyone's hat was going to smell, it'd be mine. So far, nothing. I have not tried the cooling thing yet. I'm skeptical but it would just be a bonus. The other cooling hats I've tried use ice and once the ice is gone so is the cool. Overall, this hat is perfect really for it's purpose-- It blocks the sun on my bald head The brim and hat retains it's shape, yet the hat is still foldable It's comfortable, even on a long run. Fits those with big noggins!! Well worth the price

Use it one long runs. Cooler water + this hat = I didn’t want to die. Sweat keeps it going a bit after the first soak, which is nice when you’re moving.

Felt great and did well at cooling, but it didn't hold up to machine washing paired with air drying. After probably 10 washes threading was coming undone. Somewhere between 15 and 20 washes, the fabric fell apart

My husband wears this to play pickleball. Easy to wash

Bad quality fabric on the black color, look at the photos. The white is much better but stitching looks loose and not good quality.
