In my experience, candida can eat any carbohydrate but prefers sugar. The fungal form can also eat fat. Yeast in the diet is irrelevant, as long as it is dead yeast. Kombucha should be avoided, as it can contain wild strains of live candida. A low carb, low fat diet based on lean meat and and non-starchy vegetables is best. The root cause of candida overgrowth is zinc deficiency. Until you solve that problem any other treatment will only give temporary results.

DMSA is available as non-prescription, however, because of a lawsuit involving DMSA most manufacturers have quietly stopped selling it. You can still get it via prescription or search online for Suisse Pharma brand. To clarify for others who read this: DMSA is for metals detox, SF722 is typically used for candida. It is common for both issues to occur together.
