I bought this alongside the base game and I had the intention of putting the parts all together from the start. My negatives would be probably the value for the cost of the box. It only comes with five models. I felt that the ultimate badasses expansion should have been included in this box. As before, the pieces need to be assembled so it cannot be easily played out of the box. However, the quality of the models are better this time around and although painting the models isn’t essential - it is really great to see the Queen and power loader put together and finished. They are very sturdy pieces and significantly less fragile than the regular aliens. I do find the human faces lacking detail and makes them tricky to paint and ink etc but this won’t be an issue for most people who either won’t paint at all or are much better at painting than me. The rest of the components are really good. The new tiles are brilliantly detailed and sturdy. There are more missions than just the two story levels and it really helps the game be more thematic. There are alternate mission cards for extra replay and rules for driving the APC. I personally think that this is an essential expansion for the main game and personally I feel that the main game (and story) is incomplete without this.

Aliens ADITC base game has all you need to play but adding the expansions increases playability and scenarios. One best bit is that you can play this solo too.

The game is well made and the game components are robust and attractive. I liked the fact that a number of expansions can be purchased for the core game. Overall this game is one of the best made from a movie and I would recommend it to anyone who likes Science Fiction.

Brought 2 packs for necromunda 95. I have been collecting tabletop wargames on and off for 30 years and probably put together and painted close to 1000 miniatures in that time. So I'm experienced and have everything I need too hand Tools needed. I actually knocked of 1 star just for this it's that bad Clip top 2 before the bottom 2 to minimise risk This it's such a jump in difficulty the rest is very begginer friendly but the guns are very much intermediate The face huggers Good great detail spot on for the film Bad Would be very easy to break the tail with rough handling/poor storage The connection hole needs to be made deeper to fit properly (very common but worth noting) Overall Great little kit at a really good price. A little disappointing with the lack of detail on the computers but really good everywhere else, but location of the sprue on the legs of the guns are just bad should have been on the side not the feet made a much easier/cleaner cut I would definitely recommend overall

Brilliant and brutal game. Captures the movie really well. Plenty of strategy and tension. I’d recommend the addons too. Assembly of the alien tails can be a bit tricky. The miniatures are quite small and you’ll need a good model glue, patience and a steady hand to assemble them. I’d also recommend a modelling kit; sharp pliers, files etc to remove them from their spurs and clean them up a bit. Highly recommended if aliens, miniatures or sci-fi survival horror is your thing.

Great game, good quality models. I’m a GF9 fan and kinda knew what to expect (I also read up on what this was) I already have a modelling station with scalpel/file/super glue etc etc, so the set up didn’t bother me - I actually quite enjoyed it. However I can see why people who aren’t ready for that or weren’t expecting it might not be too happy. (Although frankly they should have read up about the game before buying) Models fit together well but again - this is a job for a modelling knife not to prise out with your fingers - then you probably will damage the connections. All in all - good game and a fine addition to the GF9 family of intricate board games but be warned - serious assembly required.

I've had this for 48 hours and have played it twice, it's a cracking game. The instructions aren't 100% complete/clear but with a little time online it's possible to work it all out and it is well worth the effort. For an Aliens fan in particular it's a blast. Looks to have tonnes of replayability with different ways of playing and difficulty levels. Only available second hand these days as far as I can tell and not cheap but glad I have it.

2022年4月11日に注文、２週間以上経過してやっと着きました。 注文を受けてから海外から仕入れてるのか何なのか分かりませんが。 しっかりした余裕のあるサイズの段ボール箱( 20×27×12 )に入れられ、緩衝材まで商品の上下にありましたが中の商品の箱は潰れていました。 段ボールは全く損傷が無いので、始めから知っていて潰れた商品を発送したか、梱包時に潰してそのまま発送したかのどちらかでしょう。 他店で買いなおします。

If you are an Aliens fanatic AND a hobbyist, thia game is a dream come true. I have assembled piles of models and minis from Games Workshop and other companies and these models are on par in terms of quality, detail and ease of assembly. I cannot wait to paint these. Card and paper components are hefty and printed in very good detail and resolution. NOTE.. If you do not enjoy the hobby aspect of gaming, i.e. meticulously clipping and assembling miniatures you may not enjoy this. I would say a moderate dexterity and experience would be ideal for this game. If you are unfamiliar with spru models do yourself a favor and get some spru snips/side cutters. Dont think about it, just get em... You can use a hobby knife to remove these from the sprues if you have a skilled hand but a decent 10 dollar pair of snips will save you much agony and time. As far as gameplay, it has a slight feel of nostalgia in regards to the old Leading Edge, Aliens board game. If you arent familiar with it, hit google. Its a long out of print classic that the minis for this game could also be used for. Solo/coop play is frankly ideal for the current state of the world given the need for social distancing. This game will be a grand slam for some an a frustration for others depending on expectation.
