This Amazon Basics Pliers Set is surprisingly impressive. The tools are heavy, solid, and feel like great quality—comparable to name-brand sets. For the price, you really can’t beat it. Excellent value and perfect for everyday use.

They’re a smidge larger and more substantial feeling than I was expecting for the price, so I think they’re a great value. Excellent little bundle of some essential tools for around the house.

This is a decent set of pliers for the price. They are of solid construction, and the wire cutters actually work. However, it seems that quality control isn't the greatest, as the jaws of the slip-joint pliers were vertically misaligned. The jaws of the needle nose pliers do not meet up precisely at the tip, but that seems to be usual with inexpensive needle nose pliers. Also these pliers are all starting to rust after only a few months, even though they have never been exposed to water or high humidity.

great price and good quality. Steel seems to be good, with tight tolerances. added WD40 and they work like a champ.

If I were putting together a basic toolkit and wanted something affordable, this Amazon Basics 4-piece pliers set would be tempting. The set gives you a few useful types (probably needle-nose, diagonal cutters, maybe flat nose, etc.) so you’ve got some flexibility for small jobs. The build feels more than “toy level” — handles are decent, the metal seems okay for light to medium use, and for occasional repairs or hobby work it should do the job.

Great quality and great price. I’ve had a lot of pliers over the years, expensive and cheap and this set by far is the best for the money.

Don't expect professional quality for this price and you will not be disappointed. Yes, they work. But they are rough around the edges. I have them in a drawer for when I occasionally need one of these tools. For that, they will be fine. But I would not recommend them to a pro or contractor for everyday use.

The 4 piece set is excellent. Very robust construction, good alignment, excellent grip are the main plus points. Dont know about its rust-free nature in a humid place - only time will tell. As of now I am very happy with this purchase.
