BG 44K Fuel System Cleaner Power Enhancer 11oz.

My 2004 Honda Accord has check engine w/ P0430 code (catalytic converter issue) and my mechanic recommended to put BG 44k. After 3 days, check engine went away. This is a true testimonial. I will use this every 10k miles. I saved money for not replacing catalytic converter.

First, I would like to start off by addressing ALL AUDI OWNERS who are dealing with the common Carbon Buiid up, random misfiring codes and or rough cold starts. THIS S@!? WORKS!! I was hopeful that this stuff would work, or at the very least, make somewhat of a difference. I have to admit that this fuel system cleaner, really is magic in a bottle. My car no longer has rough cold start and throws out random misfiring codes. This product seemed to open clogged areas within my engine and literally feels like the car is 9 times more responssive and has a much much aggressive growl to my afternarket exhaust. I ran a bottle through a half of tank and went out on a 100mile ride. At 50 miles, I reached my destination, had dinner, and turned around. On my route back home? was when I noticed the car was so much more responsive. Of course I ran out of gas before I made it home, but at this point I was still not sure if it was just all in my head, the next day was sure to be a game changer. I starting the car and witness no crazy rough start and had a super smooth idling down from 1800 rpm's to 500 rpms with no CEL displaying. I tripled check Vag com and guess what? No misfiring codes either. I ordered 3 more bottles the very same minute while sitting in the car. Whatever this stuff is? seems to work on my carbon built up misfiring codes. I'm not sure if I'm suppose to run mutible bottles back to back, but I am running a second bottle (a week later) on a full tank. I typically never ride 100 miles and live in the city. So, this second bottle will be on a full tank. This will be running through my day to day usage in the city. A mechanic wanted 500$ for the labor to clean out the carbon build up. 500$ was a great deal, but the parts needed? Was seriously over the top. 1400$ in parts included new injectors, spark plugs, oil, gaskets and injector seal kit. Apparently a carbon clean is "pointless" without new injectors. Smh... Either way, this stuff saved a lot of money and I hope to continue to see results well after, just like the rest of the buyers on here. My 2001 Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa sat in the garage for years due to severe orthopedic arthritis that had developed in my shoulders. I would go out and start it occasionally, but one day it wouldn't start and I noticed the fuel pump wasn't pressuring up when I turned the ignition on. Then it sat for ANOTHER few years until I finally had shoulder replacement surgery performed. Some time later, I was in good enough shape to ride again, so I set about the task of restoring my bike. The tank had rusted and the fuel pump was a rusted, locked up mess as well. I cleaned and treated the tank and replaced the fuel pump and strainer. On first start, the bike barely ran on one cylinder. I thought sure I was going to have to spend big bucks to have the entire fuel system and injectors cleaned when I read about BG 44K. I was skeptical because none of these additives had ever worked for me before and I just wasn't buying the "miracle in a can" hype, but I thought perhaps it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. I spoke with BG customer support and explained my situation, and they were very helpful and recommended using the entire can in my 5 gallon tank for the severe problem I described, said it wouldn't hurt a thing. After adding BG 44K to a full tank of gas, I started the bike and ran it on one cylinder until it came up to temperature and shut down overnight to let the treatment soak in. Repeated the next day, second cylinder kicked in! Shut down overnight again and repeated again the next day and the third cylinder came to life. Two more repetitions and all four cylinders were firing. Then I was able to ride my bike again for the first time in many years. It ran a little rough at first, but by the time I had run completely through that one tank of gas with the BG 44K treatment, the fuel system was completely clean and the bike ran strong just as if it was new! I couldn't believe it! I've put another 300 miles on the bike and haven't looked back - still running perfectly with no issues. Highly recommended.

I first started using this product on an infiniti G20 with 200K miles. after running a can or two. I noticed that my gas mileage improved, acceleration was a bit better. I was sold after that. I have a decent mechanical background and also ASC certified mechanic friends that recommended this product. I will tell you that I tried a lot of other products to include seafoam, techron, and honestly I couldn't notice anything. Maybe it was coincidence that I noticed something with this stuff. but Hey it worked for me. I have since used it in all of my other cars and also used their engine flush and have had 0 issues with it. I seen a few bad reviews so I will say this. 1. if you didn't take care of your car before, I.E random oil changes, tune-ups, don't expect a miracle. The product isn't going to make up for your lack of maintenance. However, adding it as part of a tune-up would be a good idea. 2. The product is a fuel system cleaner, not a fuel system fixer. (see #1) 3. If you don't follow the instructions, it's not the products fault, it's your fault. if you don't know what your doing take it to a mechanic. As stated I have used it in the following cars that I have owned as part of a normal maintenance regiment, 2014 Ford explorer 1999 Infiniti G20 2013 Ford mustang GT500 2013 Lexus GS 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe. I only noticed a difference on the infiniti as I used a borescope camera before and after running it through a tank of gas and DID notice a lot of carbon removed. Older infiniti G20s have an issue with carbon build up. To date I haven't had one single problem related to this product.

I was having problems with a rough idle and seriously reduced gas mileage in a 2008 Chevy Colorado. I did some basic maintenance stuff (new spark plugs, oil change, lubrication, cleaning, etc.). I also wanted to do a Fuel Injection cleaning but didn't feel like paying $120 bucks for it, so I figured I'd experiment with this stuff. After dropping it in the tank and running it through, gas mileage seems to have gone back to normal, and idle has improve (although it's not perfect and I will have to do some more work). This stuff works as intended, but it is not a miracle cure. It helps, but won't fix the problem. This would be a great product for maintaining your fuel system, but if its already dirty, this isn't a magically cure. I'll keep this stuff around to use periodically, but it seems to be billed as a "dump in your tank, and watch your problems disappear" and it's not quite that. Nothing is, except the hands of a good trusted mecahnic.

This product is amazing. It does what it says it does. 5-10$ injector cleaners are a waste of $. This stuff is expensive but I pulled a spark plug out and looked into the cylinder before + after using this. Before using, looking down in the hole was just black, after using you could see a shiny silver clean area. It works. I have used in my car and boat with positive results. Don't waste your money on other products. Royal Purple was the only other injector cleaner I've used with actual results but this blows that away. An excellent product that is well worth the money. Everything runs smoother after treating fuel with this. My only complaint is the packaging, you need a funnel if you buy the canned product. They do offer it in a bottle with a long neck that would definitely be more convenient.

5 Stars A++ RECOMMENDED I generally frown on fuel additives, but my 2013 F-150 Platinum with the 5.0 had an annoying chudder at 35 in traffic. The dealer said there was nothing wrong. It felt like the drive line was wacked, and only while holding 35MPH in traffic. The Ford service writer suggested BG44K, I only have 21K miles on the truck. I also did have a somewhat rough idle, and my mileage was down to 14 MPG so I told him to go ahead and add it if he thought it would some good. I was very skeptical and likened it to SNAKE OIL...GRRRR. Long story made short after three days and about 55 miles I noticed that the accelerator was twitchy touchy so to speak, and more importantly the idle was super smooth again, and the chudder was also gone. Throttle response is right back to the way it was new, when I stomp on it she ROARS. Like I said I am no a big fan of mechanic in a can, but all said I am surprised, my combined MPG is now 22 again, and that is with me putting my fat foot into it at every opportunity. I put this into my wife's 2004 Honda SI that had started to display lack luster performance as well as poor fuel MPG (16 MPG). I put in the BG44K without telling her just to eliminate the placebo effect, she ran the tank out and mentioned to me that her gas mileage went back to 27, and that it was smoother at the stop light, and roars again.
