Does this microphone have more clarity than the shure sm58? i need a mic with added clarity.

I've been running sound and leading worship for 30 years. I've used SM58s for all that time. In my mind, the SM58 is dead to me. This mic is so much better in every regard. I sold all my 58s and and boguht the V7. One of it's strong points is in freq response. This tames that harsh spot in many female voices that the 58 would accentuate. No more EQ ballet to balance out voices.

Can anyone compare these to the heil pr35? the use case would be for a cantor (soloist) in a church.

Can not compare but v7 is extreme useful. Nice realistic sound and good isolation of voice from surrounding.
