Great headset for calls and music
I purchased this headset to use for work. I am working from home and use a headset for phone calls. People were having trouble hearing me with the old headset, so it was time for an upgrade. I also listen to music while I work and wanted to find a headset that would sound good with music, as well as phone calls. This headset fit the bill perfectly. Calls sound great. People say they can hear me clearly. Music sounds fantastic. The mic is bendable (and removable), so you can position it to the best position, or push it away from your face when needed. The mic also seems to cancel out background noise pretty well. The in-line volume and mute controls work perfectly. The ear cushions are comfortable, even with glasses on during an 8+ hour workday. This fit all my needs perfectly. Highly recommended.

Excellent headset for the price!
For around $20 this is an excellent headset. Very comfortable and easy to use. Sound quality is also great, sounds more crisp and detailed than the regular E900, though the microphone quality surprisingly is not as good. Plugs in via USB. The massive earpads are very comfortable and great for sound isolation. Highly recommended!

Plenty of sound
Used with Win 10 laptop. No games. So far I've used it to create videos. It definitely has plenty of sound. The inline scroll wheel puts the sound WELL over any of my earbuds ever could (with sys sound set to a default of100). Some exterior sound gets in, but not much, at lesser volume levels on the wheel. Mic is clear. I like how I can remove it when just in listening mode. The pads do get warm. I had to remove them more often at the beginning than I do now to cool my ears down. I sweat easily to begin with so this was not so much an issue as practically all were going to cause that. The memory foam pads are more gentle on my head than others have been in the past. They do cause some sort of pressure sensitive issue at my jaw joints. It's not bad; I've learned what position to adjust them to that helps the most. Almost can't tell it anymore. The cable is annoying, but I work with it (had to have cabled ones due to work requirements, for which they were originally purchased); Only wish it had a clip - pref a clamp for shirt sleeve or lapel- of some sort to help keep it out of the way. Overall, they're keepers.

Good for gaming, terrible for music.
It took "upgrading" to these headphones to realize how good I had it with the set of Sades budget USB headphones I've been using for the last 6 years. These are good headphones from every aspect except sound profile, which is a deal breaker for me.Pros:- They include a faux leather case with draw strings for storage, which is a really nice touch and I didn't expect at this price point.- Installation was (as expected) a breeze, plug in and windows recognizes them.- Putting them on, I was off to a good start, I have a very large head and I had to completely extend them to get them to fit, but they did fit. For most people they'll fit fine, and the fitment over my ears was great, they're very comfortable.- Noise cancelling is solid if not exceptional, I can't hear much of anything with them on, even with no sound coming out. A major downside of the Sades these replaced was the sound bleeding. I could hear them almost as well around my neck as I could with them on my ears. These are much better, very little sound bleed, and decent noise cancelling. The box advertises a noise cancelling chip, but I believe that's more for the microphone than the headphones themselves. I think what I'm experiencing as noise cancelling is actually just good sound insulation.- Form factor is great, the main reason I changed from my Sades headphones is they didn't fit well over my VR headset. These fit perfectly, so if that's something you're considering, I have a Samsung Odyssey+ and removed the built in speakers (they're a joke), and these fit over that headset just fine.Cons:- The sound profile. First thing I did was fire up Spotify and see how they sound with some music. The entire sound profile was designed to maximize bass. The problem is, while the bass is good, it muddies the rest of the range. If you don't care at all about audio quality, they might be passable, but these are really bad compared to my old Sades I paid $25 for about 6 years ago. I expected at least that level of sound quality, but it's nowhere near it.- The sound profile. It bears repeating, it's just terrible. Every song sounds muffled, even voices in Youtube videos sound like someone is talking through a closed door. Heck even bass-heavy EDM tracks aren't reproduced nearly accurately enough, and that seems to be a slow pitch across the plate that this profile should knock out of the park. For gaming, they're fine, and this profile may even be a feature if that's the majority of what you're doing, explosions sound great and they can be immersive, right up until someone starts talking.I wanted to like them. They fit everything I wanted them to be until I started playing music. I even listened to music through them for a good 30 minutes or so trying to think "Could I get used to this? Maybe they're not so bad..." but they are, and they're going back. I don't consider myself an audiophile, but I do appreciate decent sound quality. If you think you might fall in this boat, I'd suggest trying a different set.

Very good sound reproduction and insulation from extraneous sound
I'm not sure it's truly "sound cancelling" but it covers the ears completely, which serves the same function. Great sound reproduction, treble & bass. I have a separate fancy microphone I use for my zoom meetings, so I chose not to connect the built-in one that came with the headphones.Highly recommended.

Microphone sucks. I am returning. Sounds are good but
Headset sounds good but the mic sucks. The small curled round wire that connects to the speakers in the earpieces tend to break in experience with this type of headset. Flat wire heavier connections or internal connections last much longer and the life of the headset is much longer. Cheap headset cheap quality. Some high prices headset are the same headset as cheaper headsets the have a minor design style and a heck of a lot of price difference. I have noticed some Razor styled type headsets that look almost exactly like good headsets that I or my son and I own. that are a lot cheaper. They simply have different name and price.

sound quality on headset good for price
The mic on these can be a little tricky with the connection, but the sound quality is very good for this price. The range is full and it provides the kind of sound stage and frequency dynamics that I enjoy for video games and voice chat.

Definitely a good purchase.
The media could not be loaded. Amazing Gaming headphones!Highly recommend, good quality and pretty comfortable. The sound is just great! I don't really use the microphone while I'm gaming but I tried it out and is really good. I love the fact that I can remove it whenever I want to.
