do these tracks work with the Lionel New York Central Flyer O Gauge set?Got set for grandson -what tracks/cars to get?

They work on all lionel sets but u have to get a terminal section for the transformer. If u have a train store near u they can help u get the right section

Says comes with 4 curved, 4 straight and crossover, 9 pieces. Pink colors in pic show only 5 pieces. Are the 4 straight supposed to be pink?

how do you connect this to a section of plywood?

I did not attach the track to plywood. With the base that comes with the track it seemed to stay in place without tacking it down, since I don't leave it up after the holidays, this probably will not answer your question, but it is the best I have to offer

Is this molded as a single, thirty-inch stretch, or is it made from three, ten-inch individual track pieces connected together?

It's made from 3, 10 inch roadbeds, but the metal rails are continuous 30 inch long pieces, not 3, 10 inch pieces.
