most durable application that I found on the market that is also budget friendly. The portion that it takes to work is very reasonable. Within 24-28 hours of using, you'll start to see the weeds wilting and dying. This product keeps my pond looking very nice and weed-free !!

I hate using chemicals in my ponds/aquariums. Growing up (I've always taken care of the families pond) I remember my step dad putting algaecide in the pond, and killing every single fish. I was heartbroken. Since then, I've tried my best not to use any chemicals. Several years ago I put a POT of water mint in my creek/waterfall (I have a tiered/stream like waterwall). Fast forward to now.... It was out of control. I couldn't pull it out, it was all over in my waterfall. And also sending out babies so it was growing outside the pond. Somehow the seeds went through my waterfall skimmer, and started growing at the output of water. As well as my actual filter, it started growing at the output. MAJOR INVASION!! I tried boiling water first. It did work, but I would be boiling water all day long! So I bought this stuff.. To try it out, I put some on the main bush - it was completely dead by the next day! I didn't get it in my water, and all my other plants (that I actually want!) are thriving still. I will definitely be doing the rest soon. I highly recommend for shorelines. I'm not sure about the effectiveness on underwater plants.

Works great at first but does not last long

This stuff is fantastic for the green floating weeds in our one acre pond. I was amazed at how quickly they died. It didn’t hurt the fish or frogs or turtles 👍👍👍

I use this on a IWLA pond that I help manage. It is the only thing I have found that can keep watermeal and duckweed in check. I mix it according to the directions and spray every three weeks and it really works.

I bought this product to destroy weeds on my freshwater pond. Note: I've used a different product safely for years but it became very difficult to find. Airmax represented this product as safe for wild life and fish. Unfortunately when it came, it was covered with cautions about its safety. It indicated that animals should wait for 24 hours after treatment before they drink (I'm sure everyone but me knows how to warn the foxes, bears, deer etc not to drink for a day). It also comes with a booklet defining all the hazards but no indication of how to dilute the product other than that different dilutions have less risk (I went over the booklet from cover to cover and the bottle itself which they warn you not to touch without washing hands after. When I contacted them, they came back with more warnings, told me to only do a quarter of my pond at a time, and did not offer any help on the dilution question. They also told me it was nonreturnable due to safety hazards in shipping and indicated that I should have noticed that on Amazon (Sorry I missed that!) There are safer products out there that do not misrepresent and I have no kind words for Airmax, either the product or the abominable customer service!
