Magnetic Cartridge , Designed for Turntable Record Player, High Precision Universal Record Player Cartridge

For under $20, this is cheaper than replacing your needle on existing cartridge. Of course it does not sound as good as an Ortofon, Sumiko, or Grado, but it you are just looking to play those old albums on your stereo system and your not an audiophile, this works well and sounds decent. I refurbish old turntables and receivers etc. and this seems to satisfy my customers. They can always upgrade later if their new hobby sticks.

Really awful, no matter how much weight you put on this, the simplest touch of the turntable causes it to skate. I tried an Audio Technica AT110E afterwards to make sure it wasn't a turntable issue, and that cart tracks fine at 1.5g. Muddled shaky bass. You used to be able to get a decent low end AT cart with headshell for $25. This is not that cart.

I feel like the player is not that loud anymore.

I was frankly pleasantly surprised at the quality, price and speed of delivery. This is a quality vendor.
