Coburn Sticky Roll Fly Tape 1000' Deluxe Kit with Hardware

We have been using this fly tape for several years now. We live on a farm with cattle and goats so we have a lot of flies. We have them in each barn and lean too as well as our cattle cooler. The tape is sticky, catches the flies and can be wound up. We appreciate not using a chemical, we don't have the smell like other fly catchers do, we don't have to fly bomb and put chemicals into the air. The tape is not noticeable in our barns but really does help our livestock. It also has made a difference so that we don't have as many flies up around our house. When people come to our farm and are in our barns, my husband always points them out to other farmers. They end up getting them too and talk about the difference they make at their homestead as well. We have been very pleased with the product!

Best fly catcher by far of any I've used. Amazing. I have to roll it up every day in my barn for 2 dairy cows and sometimes twice/day. It must attract the flies cause they are landing on the new tape as I roll up the old tape. We hang it above our heads. I leave a ladder at the post that I roll it up and it makes all the difference. People can't believe how many dead flies are on the roll. I don't believe they lay eggs cause I haven't seen any flies coming off of them and the population of flies is so much less with this around. It catches better than sticky tapes and the flies (if they are laying eggs while stuck) can lay on the sticky tapes just as well that are so difficult to unroll.

We set this up in my MIL's barn, her poor horse was getting bitten by horseflies so bad that her belly had all kinds of sores and scabs. My MIL had tried all kinds of remedies, short of spraying a strong pesticide (she doesn't want all the chemical toxins around). We picked a central spot in the barn, with decent air flow, down the middle of the aisle between stalls. We hung this up - didn't take that long, really, if you're even a little handy and have tools around - and seriously, this tape is STICKY. SO STICKY. There were a few thin strands of glue just dripping off the tape (so don't hang it IN the stalls!), and within an hour we had a dozen giant horse flies (plus a small assortment of other bugs). We were ecstatic. Within 3 hours, the tape was covered - somebody averaged out 8 per foot. It was crazy! We went ahead and cranked the fly tape around, exposing fresh tape to start again. And let me say being able to easily crank over to new tape and have it roll up the old is worth the money right there!! Was soooooooo nice to be able to do, didn't get any sticky on us, took only a minute, didn't have to deal with throwing feet and feet of nasty sticky bugs away, a beautiful thing.

Seems to be working. Did come broken though and the manufacturer didn't care. Emailed them and all.

Super sticky, great way to reduce flies in a barn.

All the flys you can stick to this it will hold. Easy to install and maintain, just roll it to fresh sticky tape whenever it looks full and forget about. We ran it in our cattle barn for the summer and made a noticeable difference inside.

Super sticky! Incredibly effective in capturing flies in my barn. I have to crank new sticky tape about every three days because old tape is full. I frankly don’t know where all of the flies come from. I wish that I had purchased one of these years ago.

I have bought six of these (for me and other people) so far so its safe to say they work really well and are fairly easy to assemble. I previously used the hanging sticky tapes which got very annoying when I had to change them daily. I like that I can just keep winding up the sticky tape till its at its end and easy enough to slide off and a new one on. Even when they are hung pretty high (the ones I have bought are used with horses and cattle so they are kept out of reach) they catch a large amount of flies.
