If there is just one thing you get for your bike, this is it
Recently I have found my lower back aching at the end of a ride. I normally do forest trails and fire roads so they are quite bumpy. Despite already having a suspension seatpost that came with my bike I could never seem to get it adjusted properly so I decided to look into a better one. I looked at all the different ones out there and reading reviews and settled on the Redshift ShockStop Endurance. The price did seem a lot especially compared to others but I prefer to pay for better quality so ordered one. Fitting it was easy including putting my existing seat on it. I took it out for a first ride and chose some particularly bumpy tracks. Well, I couldn’t believe the difference. Bumps were smoothed out but I didn’t feel it was floaty. The shock absorption is second to none. I initially set it to my weight according to the instructions but after a couple of rides and adjustment found I preferred it slightly stiffer and now it is perfect. I made the mistake of letting my wife try it and she was blown away by it. Of course, I had to order another for her. If there is one thing you get to improve your bike, this is it.

This is my 3rd order from RedShift Seatpost Suspension. Did ride with the first purchase for more then 1500Km and still keep goin without any issue. You can read more review from internet but here are my personal views base on my own experience without bias. Advantage: 1) Enhance your riding experience. The suspension will soak all the small bumps and small vibration from your rear tyre. 2) You will clock in more mileage due to induce fatigue. 3) If you have any back pain issue and wanted to ride, this seatpost for you. 4) Zero maintenance. 5) Every single ride will make a big smile on your face. Disadvantage: 1) Weight penalty, add more weight to your bike, around 415g for 350mm & 380g for 280mm.(Specs taken from Redshift website) 2) Pedal bob effect reduced your power transfer. 3) For adjustment, you need to removed the seatpost. 4) Design only for circular seatpost and not for aero seatpost design. 3) Expensive for single component. Hope this will help you guys for the purchase.
