I have a K5AA purchased some 25 years ago, and the this part DOES fit. However, I have found the finish of the replacement part to be inferior to the original. The original whisk attachment is entirely stainless steel, including the base, whereas the base of the replacement unit purchased May 2019 appears to be cast aluminum. We'll see how well it might hold up. I may also look to repair the original (one wire attachment came undone). **Q: Will this fit Kitenaid Model K5SS ?** A: I bought this for my Model K5-A, and it works great.
