11pcs Hair Cutting Scissors Kits

I ordered this as a Christmas gift. It looks nice . I think she’ll like it.

I’m no professional hair stylist so I can’t compare these sheers to what they use BUT I have used Goody brand from Walmart and these are WAY better. It came with a razor comb thing that I used to trim my own bangs, it worked excellent. I trimmed my 5 yo hair with the sheers and it’s honestly the best hair cut she’s had. **pat myself on the back** That was a few month ago and it still looks great. I’m very happy with this product. This is convenient to have on hand and a great investment. I have three daughters so I know I will get a lot of use out of this product for years to come.

Speaking as a non-professional, I think this kit is pretty decent and works well for the occasional home haircut. The shears are not the sharpest but will still do a good enough job. The thinning shears and razor are nice to have if you know how to use them. I'm growing my hair out from a pixie and I use these to trim and shape my cut so I don't have to go to the salon every 4 weeks.

Okay so I was super hesitant about buying clippers online. I'm used to a lightweight clipper and these do have some weight to them but they're not super heavy or anything. I cut my own hair and family so I really needed a good kit- this one works perfectly. The clippers are amazing and sharp. There's no weird hacking at my hair like with scissors, and they fit my fingers decently. I also really enjoy the combs, they feel a little cheap but since I'm not using them in a professional setting, that's not an issue. Overall, I'm really happy with the kit. I took a chance and it worked out. If you're looking for a basic kit and some good clippers, I recommend this one.

I'll start by saying I've never cut hair in my life. Having said that I've had sharper craft scissors. They get the job done and I definitely need more practice but I feel they could be better. I'm going to have someone sharpen these and see if that makes a difference. I know hairstylests cringe when people use kitchen scissors but that's what these feel like. The combs are basic so no problem there. Overall they work just not they way I was hoping. If you want better quality you need to spend more.
