Is there a way to warm this without use of a microwave?

I dont know- I microwave it for 13 to 14 seconds, then wet one end of a washcloth with warm to hot water, put the stye eye inside the layers and use that to put it on my eye. The washcloth can be washed easily and it provides a wet compress. The warmth of the water used makes up for nuking it only a short time. When I was trying to heat the stye eye to a warmer temperature, I managed to blow a hole in it, but now that I am using a warm wet washcloth , no blowouts.
