How does this come packaged? Is it a nice presentation? (want to give as gift)

I just received mine (August 2017), and it came in a nice box with a molded plastic cover so you can see it clearly. Also had a bit of curved white cardboard under the helmet so it looks like there's an egg in it. The one I received definitely had gift-worthy packaging

What is the material of this egg cup?

It's plastic. IDK if it's dishwasher safe, we just hand wash ours.

How many egg holders?

The price is for one. I love this little guy, he was well worth the price

Does anyone know what type of plastic it is made out of? PET, etc?

I've looked at the bottom of the product but it doesn't say what type of plastic it is. All I can say is that it is incredibly durable and made of high quality hard plastic. I hope that helps.
