For woman, would this fit? What size (in inches) is the hat?

Yes, this would fit women, but the back is closed so there is no where to pull a ponytail through if you wear your hats this way. This hat comes in three sizes and each size has some flexibility because the band on this hat is a flexfit band (elastic). The medium/large size should fit heads with a circumference of 22 3/4 inches to 24 1/4 inches. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
