LASKO A20100 Air Circulator, 20-Inch

i have always gotten lasko fans for my home and this one is just as good as the large metal ones i have gotten really adds that coolness when its so humid and hot out i have two husky mixes and theyre both 11 years old the humidity and heat really slows them down i have central air and for me it would be enough but im not wearing a fur coat like them this fan was for the room they hang out in and now i cant get them out of there lol the price for it was great and it makes a difference in the comfort of our home oh the noise level is normal for a fan not too much but you know its on

Excellent product. Quiet yet provides excellent air flow. Lost my a/c and it was a lifesaver during this exceptionally hot summer.

I need white noise and a nice air flow to sleep well. This product is awesome. It's loud. So if you're looking for a quiet fan, skip it. But if you're like me and you enjoy a noisy fan at night, this is it. Plus, it tilts so you can get better air flow. I've gone through several fans over the years and this one is the best by far. I was nervous about buying it online but the BAD reviews helped me more than the good ones. The bad reviews all said the fan was too loud. Exactly what I wanted. So thanks to everyone giving reviews (good or bad) because even bad reviews help sell items.

This fan is one that i seem to go to more often then not. The shape of it has yielded better results then most of the others in this price category. So I say it delivers better then most hem it comes to air Dispersement and distribution. And priced reasonably folks. Not a quite fan by any means FYI!

I love that it tilts on different angles. High speed blows hard enough but not enough to blow you away. It has screw holes in the bottom to be able to mount it to the wall but no screws were included. I do not need them so this was not an issue. Size is great and no overly big. It sits in my hall to help move the air around my house better but doesn't block the whole path. We keep it on low at night and high during the day. It has 3 speed settings. It seems durable and of good quality so far. My dog has bumped it and a few dog toys have hit it and it held up well.

This is not the best fan that I have had. It is large and falls over easily. The controls go backwards from height to low rather than the norm, low to high. The knob is too small and is hard to turn due to it. It does not reach the specified volume on high that is expected.

I live in the heart of Chicago, right downtown in the Loop (near a fire station, and near commuter train & "L" tracks) so sirens, horns, garbage trucks, train toots, loud street people, and partying neighbors are omnipresent. I bought this fan specifically due to the comments that it wasn't 'whisper quiet'. It's perfect to drown out the noise. It's placed right next to my bed, pointed straight up to the ceiling, and set on a smart plug that's timed to automatically turn it on at 10pm, and off at 6am. I sleep soundly because I hear nothing but the wind when I go to sleep, and never hear the noise outside of my bedroom. And because it's timed to turn off at 6, the utter lack of white noise wakes me up when I need to get up, without an alarm. If I did need it for a cooling wind, it definitely has the power for that, but that wasn't its primary purpose for me. It's an excellent white noise fan at a very good price.

This fan is used in my master bedroom for many months now. It's primary purpose is white noise to help me sleep, which it excels at. It also does a great job of air circulation and keeping the air fresh. It was a snap to put together and has given us no problems at all. It has outlasted a similar fan that we had before this one. It is just the right amount of noise and cooling.
