This bug is a beast!
Someone else said it but I totally agree, “This little bug is a beast!” It drained my in ground pool with no problems at all. All that was left in the pool was a very, very shallow tiny pool of water! I am NOT sorry that I bought it!! Very easy to use.

Great little pump
This pump worked perfect to pump water out of my basement. It pumped the water out pretty fast and has been used multiple times with no problems. It is small and lightweight so easy to carry to a basement.

Used for a drainage ditch
Bought this and used it in a situation it really wasn't designed for. I had a drainage ditch that is a good 300' long and ranged in width from 2-10' wide and anywhere from 1 foot to 3 feet deep of water. The yard was saturated and had surface water which added to the amount of water to be moved. Plus more rain replenishing the amount of water. I needed to get the water moving and be able to do it quietly as the only time I'd be able to use a gas powered unit would be late a night and the neighbors wouldnt approve of that. So I ran this pretty much 24/7 since April 28th (its currently 5/23) and the only hiccups have been more due to the usage than the pump. Its been a champ and hasn't given me any issues other than what Ill list below. Mind you this drainage ditch isn't just clean water as it can have silt and have grass clipping/other vegetation to deal with.-if you are placing it on a hard surface (concrete or well packed ground) itll work for the 1/8" of water. But if placing on a soft surface it sometimes "suctions" itself down and will stop sucking up water. Placing the unit on bricks or with a stick under an edge of it works quite well at fixing that though-the built in filter works well for larger items but isn't perfect. Mind you this is made for clean water anyways. But a piece of screen door mesh wrapped around the unit makes for a great prefilter.Overall for the price it is a wonderful product. It will be nice having around for other uses as well. For just moving water...it works great and is quiet and easy to use.

Not great for what I needed, but not terrible.
I got this to remove water from my flooded garage. It did a good job, but the water needed to be a certain depth in order to clean it up. The description made it seem like it would completely clear the water but it’s not flat enough to the ground to do so. It still did a great job removing most of it so I can’t complain too much.

Effective
Effective, quiet and powerful. My lanai floods as well as much of the back yard with heavy rain. The WaterBUG pumps water at full bore through my garden hose to the driveway and rather quickly lowers the water level on the lanai. I wish the power cord was a couple feet longer, but it works for me as is.

Good little pump
Bought this pump to drain an outdoor tub. I was impressed with how quiet it was and how quickly it drained. Very simple and easy to use. When close to being done pumping it appeared to stop working and I was concerned and reached out to support. It turns out it got an air block where air somehow got into the pump and was preventing it from continuing to pump water. Simply turning it sideways to let the air escape quickly resolved the issue. Would recommend.

FREAKING AMAZEBALLS! Works like a wet dream!
WOW! WOW! WOW! So beyond thrilled I stumbled across this little yellow sucking machine! There just aren’t enough words in the dictionary to describe my relief, excitement, amazement, wonder, thrill, did I say relief already?I’ve used the little “disposable” above ground pools for years and years. Except they aren’t little when it comes time to clean them up for summer fun. Mechanical brained hubs and fight EVERY FREAKING YEAR over summer setup. He ALWAYS has some ingenious idea to help save our backs from bailing water and funk from the bottom of the pool. There is always about 8” that doesn’t syphon out and we have to use buckets and dump. It’s a big fiasco!Well, this time I was six months post back surgery and he was recently diagnosed with severe back arthritis and a debilitating disease that has left both of us unable to scoop and dump 5 gallon buckets of water.I searched for a pump and there were several to choose from, but the reviews sucked! I actually ordered another pump and then cancelled the order because I just didn’t feel a level of comfort with the purchase. And then it happened! This little yellow monster machine popped on my search! The reviews were fantastic and seems incredible. The money wasn’t bad and I figured what the hell - if it didn’t work, I would send it back and at least I tried. It was easy peasy to set up. I dropped it in the stagnant water at 5:30. By 8:30 most of the water was gone! Tomorrow I’ll finish with the big shop vac on all the gunk and start filling that beast of a disposable pool that is on its third year of use. 22’ x 52” in size. This has been the easiest pool cleanup and open I have ever done short of setting up a new pool!THANK YOU! This old lady is beyond happy with her purchase!

Horrible customer service, they don't care!
***DO NOT BUY*** CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT *****I had previously bought this pump had it a couple years worked great for what I needed. Finally stopped working after 2 years so I felt good in buying the same exact one, well what a mistake!! I bought it in May '26 and it just stopped working in July' 26 plugged it in like usual and nothing, mind you only been used 3 times prior. I contact seller for help and all I get back was it's past the 30 day warranty 🤔 what kind of customer service is that??Stayed loyal to your product and was faulty obviously and flooded out where I was trying to keep water from. Pouring rain in FL and when I needed the pump the most to work it didn't!! You should learn how to treat your customers and resolve issues, it had only been used 3 times since the purchase and I stated it was my 2nd one from you so a loyal customer and you refuse to help fix, replace your faulty equipment because of 30 day warranty had passed, 30 days for electrical issues? Since when?? You should want to make it right only had been used 3 times since May!!the world has turned to crap and you've followed right behind it with your lax in good quality customer service, especially with faulty electrical equipment could have very well been an issue right of the manufacturer line! I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB as well!! Pathetically sad you don't want to resolve the issue!!

This thing sucks!!! (In a good way)
Our basement and crawlspace started to flood due to a very quick snow melt recently. I tried three different submersible pumps that barely worked on low water on floors. Then I decided to give this one a try and it’s absolutely amazing. Not only did it suck up water faster than any other pump that I have tried, it also works really well in low water situations. I highly recommend this pump for anybody who is dealing with any sort of flooding.

Excellent Product
This is a great little pump at a good price that does exactly what is described. I bought it to deal with an emergency flooding situation in my basement, and it does drain very effectively down to about a centimetre, but I ended up using it frequently to drain water from on top of my swimming pool cover. Note that in this scenario once it is started, you can unplug and allow to siphon instead. Nice long three prong cord, very solid case, with supports to wrap the cord around for easy storage. This is a portable temporary use drainage pump and so you don't need a switch. Best feature is being able to use an ordinary garden hose and it pumps quickly and quietly over at least a 3 metre height. Very pleased to be able to buy this Wayne product through Amazon. Only suggestion I would make is a hook or loop on top to be able to pick up as you should not lift with the cord.April 2020 update - just used it effectively to pick up water directly from puddles on the lawn after heavy rain and snow melt - works like a charm!

Bomba sumergible
A la tercera vez que la usé, dejó de funcionar. No enciende ni se apaga de manera automática, cuando hay agua y cuando se vacía el depósito que quería vaciar, por lo que hay que estar todo el tiempo junto a la boma.
