No way near Shulton's Original Old Spice
I am an old timer who has used only Old Spice for a long time. All those who reviewed perhaps did not exprience the real Old Spice from Shulton. Now P&G has taken over and the new gen marketing pros have only spoiled the name. Practically no fragrance at all compared to "original" Old Spice. The foam is dry and thick. Razor gets stuck. Why they say smell like a man when there's no smell? Someone wrote it is from India. Yes, India used to make Shulton Old Spice too and when I came to Dubai I didn't find any difference from that made in UK. But now P&G have spoiled by changing the formulation.

Though this shave cream has fewer natural ingredients, I like it better than Cremo and Proraso creams. The Cremo takes way too long to lather and then it is a thin lather. The Proraso is a very nice thick lather but I was not able to get a good close shave because it did not have a slick base foundation for lubrication like the Cremo and sometimes left me with skin bumps and even minor razor irritation. An almond-size quantity of this Original Old Spice shaving cream very quickly makes a good creamy lather that is almost as thick as Proraso when fully worked up (BTW - I use a boar hair brush and a bowl). Best of all it has enough of a slick base foundation for lubrication so that I get a nice close smooth shave without any skin bumps or irritation. It very cleanly washes off with just water without leaving an oily film and leaves the skin feeling smooth with a very slight refreshing sensation. I appreciate its "Clean" scent though I would have preferred it to be more like the "Old Spice Classic" scent. The scent is faint and much more neutral than the strong herbal scents of most shaving creams and it is not noticeable when the shave cream is rinsed off. If you do use "Old Spice Classic Aftershave", the scent matches well with it. Warning: This product has a 3 year expiration. Check the stamped manufacturing date ("MFD") on the tube crimp. The expiration date is 3 years after manufacture. Typically both dates are also labeled in separate locations on the packaging box. Note: This product is only manufactured in India. The Indian seller "Cibbostore" has very fresh product inventory that it supplies to "Amazon Fulfillment" for Amazon shipping in the USA. My tube still had over 2.5 years of shelf-life.

It makes shaving a pleasure smells great What I do dislike is that I jalways have to buy this outside of the uk add to that the extra cost it then becomes financially expensive Come on UK 🇬🇧 I’d like too buy it here not elsewhere Thank you anyway for your great service and the smooth transaction and delivery 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This shaving cream creates miles of slick, smooth lather with just a little bit, especially when used with brush and mug/lather bowl. I’ve also had great shaves with face lathering. Shaves have been with both traditional DE’s and Straight Razors. If we take the Time Machine back to 70s/80s every dude of shaving age got one of those Old Spice sets round the holidays with the cool mug with the ship on it. It came with a brush and a decent puck of soap. Those mugs seemed ubiquitous in American bathrooms with their rightful place next to the also once popular Water Pik. Fast Forward to present, the wet shaving hobby has grown these past 15 years with no signs of slowing. One can argue it’s now mainstream men’s stuff. Gillette has acknowledged it and so has Pinaud Clubman. DE Razors, brushes, and Shavettes are available at CVS and Walgreens. This Old Spice cream is objectively really good compared to many of the hobby brand creams and soaps. I see this is made for the Indian Market. Believe I’ve read once shaving habits are a little different and persons frequently have less access to running H2O. That may be why this cream is so lathery and smooth, but I am just speculating. The fragrance is good but seems different than traditional Old Spice. The ingredients list is alphabet soup of chemicals, but it is damn fine. Now Old Spice’s game in the US is 100 flavors of body wash with fun names. They’ve largely abandoned the nautical tie-ins. I’m wondering if they are missing a serious revenue stream not going after the wet shaving market in the US with a cream that performs this fantastic. Many of those body wash fragrances would also sell well in a shaving cream. I can’t see the market for canned creams and gels growing, and body wash seems pretty darn saturated. I recommend this cream to anyone that needs to shave. Would be interesting to see if Old Spice would widen its availability in the US.
