Would this stuff work on a large area of a worn boat seat cusion and remain soft?

I am sure it will NOT work on the boat cushion. I did my dash and after one summer the dash began to crack again it the areas I repaired. It went on nice and looked good when it was done but just did not stand up to the heat. It is not flexible enough for a cushion. Why not go to an upholstery repair shop. I am sure an auto body repair shop in your area can recommend one.

MIne did not come with hardener. Can I use regular bondo hardener?

Per the manufacturer, customer can use regular bondo hardener.

Could this be used as a filler for a foam steering wheel?

Yes, but I think the density of this material would be a little higher than the steering wheel, but I think it would work.

Does this product come with the plastic welding rod?

No, it only comes with the cream hardener.

A very good product to fill in cracks on a padded dash. Sands easily when cured. The container is small so the filler doesn’t go a long way if your dash has multiple deep cracks so will need to order more than 1 container.

Excellent but drys very quick , produces a lot of dust and I say best for older vehicle dash boards with less contouring. All in all great flexibility when dry .
