Works on most surfaces
So far we have used this on laminated wallpaper, gloss paint in bathrooms, enameled metal on a refrigerator, and on that nasty 70ish paneling. I honestly wasn't expecting this to work on any of them because very little does stick to these things and hold for more than a few hours, particularly if there's any weight on it. Some tips: I was hanging a laminated world map on the laminated wallpaper and not having much success by attaching it at the 4 corners. However, adding a couple of buttons of adhesive across the top between the corners made all the difference and it's been there now for months. On gloss paint, this works very well so long as you start with a dry wall. Even if humidity does build up on the wall afterwards, this seems to not affect it very much. But if you try to put it on paint that has the slightest amount of moisture, it won't work very well. On enameled metal surfaces this works quite well so long as the metal is relatively warm, and the warmer the better. I found very little luck in getting it to stick to anything cooler than about 60F, but when warmed up slightly, the bonding becomes instant. On all surfaces, the adhesive peels off just fine with no marks or residue, at least to this point which is 9 months later. I have used similar products before and there does come a point where it begins to get hard with drying out or curing and then it leaves a mark. So the advice here would be to not put this where you're going to need an extremely long or permanent solution.

Works Great With Posters
I bought some posters for my little sister for her birthday and needed to buy an adhesive to hang them up. I ended up getting a pack of these. When we put them up, we split a few of the tabs into smaller piecesโone for each corner and one for the middle. But before doing that, I tested it on the wall. I highly recommend doing that before you use more than one piece. It removed nicely, yes, but due to the kind of paint my wall has, it left a little residue. I just scratched it off with my nail and it turned out okay. The tabs have the consistency of a kind of sticky clay, almost. You can break off pieces and itโll stretch a bit like taffy, but softer. They wonโt really stick to your hands. Be careful with adhering thin materials with this. The posters worked because the paper was thick. Printer paper also didnโt rip with this. Tracing paper would rip. Anything thicker than that should be fine. The longevity of how long this stuff holds also depends on how well you press it to the surface. You canโt just plop something on the wall without pressing it down and expect it to stick. The posters have been up for about three months now with no issues.

Really holds
Really holds - too good, I still can't get this blue gum out of my mouth.

A bit on the thin size but would buy again
God value for money, easy to use, quantity generous, no discoloration on them, durability is ok too, but the paper quality could be a bit thicker, so minus one star for that. Would buy again. Quantity good and they are all consistent too.

Great for coloring books
I use these to flatten out the pages of my coloring books for photo shoots. Theyโre perfect because theyโre not as sticky as tape and I can remove them easily with no residue.

Sticks to everythingโalmost!
I used this to hang framed artwork in a show. One nail holds the top of the piece, and a small ball of this putty (about half the size of a pencil eraser will do) ensures the picture remains level. Note: you really don't need a full tab of this to hold a picture level. About the only thing this won't stick to easily is some super-slick plastic. One example is the Ikea Ribbaframes, which are a cheap wood composite wrapped in a thin plastic film much like Contac Paper. In that case, I had to scuff the frame with fine sandpaper. Warming the putty by rolling it between your fingers also helps. I recommend, too, that you start with a ball of putty, set it on the frame, then use your fingers to smoosh the sides of the ball so they spread out parallel to the back of the frame, pressing them down firmly as you go. By really spreading and pressing, you'll get more adhesion than simply pushing the ball of putty straight down onto the frame. Removal is pretty easy, though sometimes you have to work at it for a half minute or so to get all the bits. You can re-use this putty after short-term use and probably after long-term as well. I've had trouble with other mounting putty taking off flakes of wall paint after being in place for many months. So far, thisbrand han't had that problem, but I haven't had it in place more than several weeks.

Holds Everything, Everywhere!
I absolutely love this stuff! I use it all over our RV to keep items from falling while traveling. Everything from small decorations to a priceless custom Iron Man helmet stays perfectly in placeโeven after hundreds of miles. Super reliable, reusable, and a must-have for anyone who wants their stuff to stay put.

Meh.
This didnโt stick as well as I wanted it to. I find I need to continually reapply.

Great and easy to use
I used these tabs to mount posters and it worked perfectly. However pay attention to size and weight of the posters, some require more putty than the description says to get good results.
