Sticks very well. Easy to handle too

Tape worked perfectly with the paper I put on the back of a frame. The paper stuck like glue which is a good thing.

This double sided adhesive is perfect. I am a demonstrator for a rubber stamping company and I mostly make hand stamped greeting cards. When I have fine, die-cut pieces I need to adhere to a card, glue can be very messy and I've found this double-sided adhesive to be quite excellent. You apply this product to the back of the cardstock piece that you will be cutting from. As you roll it off of the roll, you expose one side of the adhesive (just like a roll of tape) which you then stick to the back side of the cardstock. The other side of the tape has white paper backing. You roll off and cut whatever size you want to place on the back of your cardstock. Then after you die cut your piece, you just remove the white backing to reveal the adhesive and stick the die-cut piece down. Easy Peasy. I've used several different brands of this type of product all of which have come as "sheets". For the sheets, you cut the sheet to fit the cardstock piece, peel back one white protective layer from the cut sheet revealing the adhesive and then attach it to the cardstock. Then after you die-cut your cardstock, to attach your die-cut piece you have to peel off a second layer of white backing from the other side, which creates an additional step. The sheets have areas at the edge of them that help you get the backing off but when dealing with left over pieces of the sheet that aren't near an edge it can be difficult to get the backing peeled up. The two layers of backing on the sheets are very thin and that makes it hard to remove it and sometimes the adhesive wants to come up with the backing. So besides the additional step of peeling off an additional layer of backing, it can sometimes be frustrating getting the backing off properly. Additionally, sometimes the adhesive itself that the sheets use is not always the best quality. It can be stringy or thin and peel up easily when removing the backing or not be very strong, giving a weak hold. Sometimes I've found it doesn't cut well or at all around fine details (so you end up with adhesive where you don't want it like in small fine holes) and then it can end up just as or even more messy than if you'd just used glue. I have found that the 2 inch size of this product in tape form is so much easier to work with than the sheets, especially for smaller die cuts, and it seems to be the perfect size universally for what I need it for. But it does come in many different widths (including larger widths such as 3" and 5") and I do have occasions for smaller widths so I will probably order another roll that is 1" wide which is $7.99. I have never had trouble getting the backing off of this product and the adhesive is perfect, just the right thickness and consistency and it bonds firmly and completely. The quality of the adhesive itself is excellent for my purposes. Adhesive quality matters and I have been very satisfied with the quality of the adhesive this product uses. And you get a lot! It will last you a while and you will waste less of it. I ordered it in January of 2020 and I still have a lot left. That is something I really appreciate about this product because I'm tired of companies that price gouge crafters. When possible, I avoid buying any products from companies who take advantage of crafters. This product is also neater to use and store as you don't have all the little left over pieces in different sizes to deal with like you do with the sheets. Virtually none of it goes to waste. It is easy and convenient to use. It was also reasonably priced at $12.99. Because of it's price, convenience, quality and functionality, I highly recommend this product and I will purchase it again. And to be clear, this is my own personal opinion which I was not asked for or offered anything for giving. I just like giving credit where credit is due and sharing what I think are good finds with other crafters!

This ultra-thin permanent double-sided tape is exactly what I needed for my arts and crafts projects. It adheres securely to a variety of surfaces and provides a clean, professional finish without adding bulk. I especially appreciate that it can be torn by hand — no scissors needed — which makes it super convenient to use. Perfect for scrapbooking, photography projects, and general crafting. Great quality and highly recommended!

If you’re on the fence because of the 4.3-star rating, let me help you step confidently off that fence and into the cart. May the record show that this AJ Sign World MAX Strength Double-Sided Tape is hands-down the best I’ve used. I’ve tried several other brands claiming to be “permanent” and “multi-purpose” tapes that barely lived up to either claim. However, this adhesive unicorn of wizardly tapes creates a no-mess, ultra-thin, practically invisible bond that’s incredibly difficult—if not impossible—to remove (without damaging surfaces). I originally bought the 1/2-inch MAX Strength version for some smaller craft projects and quick household fixes, and it blew me away with how strong and reliable it was. I even used a tiny strip of it to hem my pants before a meeting, and it held all day without a single issue! After that, let’s just say I was attached—I ordered the 1-inch MAX Strength roll for a larger mixed-media art project my daughter was doing for school. I needed something strong enough to hold textured cardstock, fabric swatches, and small wooden embellishments to a poster board without the mess of glue—and wow, did this tape deliver. It’s thin, easy to tear by hand, and holds like it was fused together in a lab. That project was passed around between teachers, students, and parents for over a week—and despite all the handling and movement, not one single piece came loose. It’s still perfectly intact on our wall today, held up proudly by the 1-inch MAX tape. What really makes this tape stand out, aside from its industrial strength, is its versatility. I’ve used it for: • Scrapbooking: Attaching thick photo paper and heavier embellishments to pages with zero lifting or peeling. • Home office fixes: Securing power strip backs to desks and organizing cable runs along walls—yes, it really holds. • Holiday decorating: Since this tape is truly permanent, I applied a base layer of painter’s tape to my walls and doors first, then used the AJ Sign World tape on top of that to hang large garlands, oversized bows, foam signage, and layered paper crafts. After weeks on display, the painter’s tape barrier made all the difference—takedown was flawless. No damage. No mess. Worked like a charm. • Material bonding: It permanently adheres not just paper, but also cardboard, cardstock, lightweight fabric, foam board, plastic, and other mixed materials with total confidence—because once it’s stuck, it’s stuck. PSA: Just a heads-up—this tape is in it for the long haul, meaning it will stick for good. It’s not easily removable, if at all, so be mindful of where you use it, especially on painted or delicate surfaces. You’ve been warned (with the best of intentions). The beauty of the 1-inch MAX Strength width is that I can cut it in half for smaller, detailed work—effectively doubling my roll. The 1/2-inch MAX Strength version is great for smaller craft projects if you don’t want to deal with precision cutting of the 1-inch width, and it’s just as reliable. Whichever version you choose to go with, know this: You are absolutely paying for quality here, and the MAX Strength label means business. FYI: I can’t speak to the non-MAX versions, simply because I haven’t tried them—after discovering this, I don’t feel the need to. If you’ve been burned by flimsy or overly gummy alternatives that don’t hold up, this is the tape that restores your faith. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, artist, small business owner, or just someone who appreciates a product that does exactly what it says it will, this holy grail of double-sided, permanent tape is your new secret weapon. Seriously, just get it and seal the deal, already. You won’t regret it! AJ Sign World, if you’re reading this—I’ve basically become a brand ambassador, and I accept payment in tape.
