Black Flag BZ-OCT1 Bug Zapper Octenol Lure, Universal Fit

I didn’t believe something this small could make such a big difference — but wow, it really works. Ever since I added this yellow CO₂-scented cartridge, my mosquito trap has been working overtime. It basically mimics human breath (which apparently mosquitoes love), so they head straight for it. I live in Indonesia where mosquitoes carry some serious diseases, and this has definitely helped reduce the number buzzing around our bedrooms. (The machine I put it on is called a “Katchy“

Excluding the hooks, the lure "cage" is approximately 1.75"wide x 1.375"high x 0.3125"thick, which fits easily between the UV light & fan cover of my suction trap. Mozzies love me and now I have a method for extracting them from my home. Couldn't be happier.

One small problem I encountered, but overall this is a great product. Customer service fixed my issue quickly. Very satisfied. So far so good.

So I needed a boost for my zapper...it performs well without this mosquito smell enticer!... but with it simply fit to the grate of the zapper a very easy installation I might add.... my zapper positively slayed mosquito s and I I now have less bites due to them getting zapped.

Didn't seem to work well for the purpose

I've had this product clipped to the side of a Flowtron bug zapper for about a week now. It's working really well so far and lures most of the pests away from my patio area.

I was wondering why my bug zapper stopped working until I realized that I needed the bait and once I put this on there I could hear it zapping way more bugs

I was thinking this was going to be a quality product since it is Black Flag. I should have known right away when I saw the thin bag that this Black Flag octenol cartridge came in that probably wouldn't be very strong. We'll it's not strong. It's a very light octenol smell.I have so many mosquitos in my yard that this should have had my bug zapper popping and smoking with dead mosquitoes. Ive purchased other octenol cartridges for comparison and this one is the WEAKEST I've smelled so far. It may have attracted a few mosquitos but it definitely doesn't work as well as other brands. The black flag octenol also did not clip well onto the sides of my bug zapper so I ended up having to use zip ties. PROS: None. CONS: • Protective odor packaging needs to be thicker. • Smell needs to be stronger. • Needs to be able to mount to a bug zapper. I don't recommend this black flag octenol cartridge. It does not work as well as others that I have used. I would not purchase it again. In my opinion, it's a 2 star product. I have also included pictures and a video in this review.
