They are not as bright as the image makes them appear to be but I had seen other cornhole board lights and didn't expect them to be. The huge selling point for me on these was that the light string is encased in clear plastic tubing. Other edge lights I had seen were like small strings of Christmas lights. When attached to the board they sagged like stings of Christmas lights often do. The plastic tubing on these enabled the light string to keep a nice straight/clean line along the edge of the board.As you can see in the attached pics, playing in the pitch black with only board lights is quite challenging. Whether in pitch black or just in a poorly lit area, when coupled with a hole light these edge lights will definitely help keep the game going much longer than you could with no lights!The length of the light string was plenty to go all the way round the board and have extra to get the batter box up under the inside of the boards. I drilled a hole through the back 2X4 on my boards and ran the lights out of the hold to give it an even cleaner look. I emailed them a picture of the box that night and received a reply within the hour even though it was 9:30pm, not to worry they had my address and would ship out a replacement. We got the replacement and it works great! This is a bulky rubber hose with lights inside. Truly would not put them on my corn hole game, more suited for a red neck hot tub or trailer.
