ACT English Practice Book (Advanced Practice)

Honestly, I was very impressed with the amount of detail in this book. I'm not going to say my initial ACT score but I can confirm that it has risen significantly from both my hard work and this book. The ACT is by no means an "easy" exam but it certainly has become easier with the help of this book. Thank you ies2400!

This book is the single worst book I have ever purchased. The book provides many faulty questions with actual typos and provides no explanations to actually justify these faulty answers. I usually score a 33-36 on English ,but using this book I only score around a 25-29. If amazon had a 0 star review option this book deserves it. The questions are vague, misleading, and all together poorly written. If you have any sense of reason do NOT buy this book.

Quite good for general guides for ACT.

It does NOT have explanations and hence not very effective for test preparation.

Nice ACT book

There are too many grammatical and punctuation errors in this book to helpfully teach a student. As a teacher, I am very disappointed that I am constantly apologizing for errors in the book as my students are trying to learn.

This act book brought my score up from a 31 to a 34 in just three weeks of studying. This book gives many practice questions as well as great explanations to help better understand the concepts you need help on. If you really put in the effort and use the book efficiently it will really assist in bringing your act score up.
