Sugru by tesa - Mouldable Multi-Purpose Glue for Creative Fixing and Making, White, 8-Pack

I’ve been using Sugru for years and always have some around for miscellaneous jobs. Whether it’s filling holes (possibly much better than silicone) or making repairs to things or even using it as a kind of mouldable gasket, Sugru is excellent stuff. I can’t remember all the things I’ve used it for, but I recommended it to a friend and he used it to repair the exhaust on his Mini! Because it’s resistant to high temperatures it worked brilliantly. My wife used it to fix a contact sensor on the door of her Nissan Qashqai that is normally a couple of hundred pounds, but was a cheap permanent fix with Sugru.

I’ve been using Sugru for years e.g. dishwasher basket, shoe repairs, cracked pottery etc. So many uses - the black one even filled a small hole in my tarmac driveway. Very pleased with the results and long lasting.

I was a bit worried that, like others recently, mine would arrive already past its "use by date". Received 8 today, 19/11/2025, 4 black & 4 white, and they are ALL good till June 2026. Just FYI in case anyone else is worried. Put em all straight in the fridge after checking, which the enclosed leaflet says triples the remaining number of months.

Great moulding patches to fix or secure those tricky things that need strengthen. Definitely keep a packet in your home fridge for those days.

Pretty cool stuff, I was able to glue my headset hindge together. Sony PS5 Pulse Elite headset broke at the only point it could bend so I used this and super glue before to put it together. It is not looking good but works perfectly. Fortunately no cable broke inside. It came with the same expiry date as the delivery date but with putting them into the fridge (the small bags) it will triple lifetime of these glues. Easy to form what you need, it does need 12-24 hours to solidify but it will be still kinda gummy (not sticky) which is the perfect for anything that should bend.

CHECK THE USE BY DATE! I ordered an 8 pack, and they'd all passed their 'use by' dates 6 months ago. The outer packaging doesn't even have any dates on them so they don't know how old the products are that they're selling you! IF IT'S IN DATE - Great product. I have used it to make a foot on the dish drainer taller, so it doesn't wobble, and to create a ring stuck to my dashboard to hold my sunnies - which is really effective (when it got knocked off a few years later it was quite an inconvenience!). Oh, and also to put feet on the back of a soap dish so that the water drains out of it better, and we're not left with wet soggy soap. Does the job well, but at the best of times it's shelf life isn't great, and it's expensive. A brilliant addition to the 'what if' bag in the car, or the kitchen drawer, but leave it a few years, and it unusable. Apparently you can extend the 'use by' dates by sticking them in the fridge. Get's cheaper the bigger the pack you buy, but it might not be usable by the time you need to use it, so it's a gamble. Would give it more stars if Amazon didn't sell me expired products - and if Sugru put expiry dates on the outer packaging so that Amazon could see if it's expired before selling it to me!! UPDATE: the manufacturer said they had no stock so to return via Amazon. Amazon’s replacement Sugru was ALSO out of date by 6 months, so now I have two orders of it to send back. Again, with no dates on the outside packaging it’s a crapshoot! Disappointing. Reducing star rating from 2 stars to 1 star. A pity, as the product is capable of many things.

I have had to contact Amazon, Customer Support twice now concerning Sugru by Tesa’s, having purchased their Black & White 8-Pack product and its very short shelf life. After delivery on two consecutive days, I had opened both boxes stating on all (16) of the foil pouches a use by date of 06/2026 … that’s giving me just 19 / 20 days to use this product by. I do not understand why the manufacturer does not state a “use by date” on their boxes and not just their pouches! Like the consumer, Amazon have no idea prior to picking this product up for dispatch that it is almost out of date until the box has been opened. Having spoken to Customer Support after the second call they told me this issue would be taken up with the manufacturer. I hope it is. This product is let down by this issue …. Otherwise, it’s a good product.

My air mattress has a puncture along a seme on the bottom but when I used the repair tape the air just leaked out of the seam, so I tried hot glue as I heard that could work and it held up for a bit but it wasn't able to change it's shape enough for when the air mattress was pumped and air leaked out again. This is strong enough to stick on the mattress and flexible enough to change shape as the mattress is inflated. It can also spread across a large area giving me peace of mind. The laundry rack broke at the connection and I don't have a welder so I tried glue and that broke overtime with the bending of the rhods but again because this has flex to it, it held up beautifully

Sugru is great stuff - I've used it to create new brackets to fix refrigerator glass shelves, house numbers, and make new feet for electronics.

Siempre tengo algún sobre de sugru en la nevera para que se conserve mejor. He reparado muchas cosas como cables, diademas de auriculares, etc. Y si lo moldeas bien queda con buena resistencia.

Easy to use, no mess, any number of applications. Sets hard and secure, but remains flexible. Great product.
