Ultra 8 Compression Foot/Ankle Sleeve (S/M)

I have a small foot and, when I ordered the S/M, it was tight, so be aware when this sock is "compressive", it means it. That having been stated, I couldn't believe the relief I immediately received from putting the sock on my foot. There was not only great support, but holding the tendons and connective tissue in place so the body could mend itself more easily is what this sock is all about. I have learned a valuable lesson about feet, if you don't take care of them, you will end up regretting it. Great sock.

Can't give 5stars because I haven't worn them long enough. I got them for my ankles and they seem to be helping with support. Less pain when I walk.

O.K., I'm going to admit that I have a bit of a "cankle" problem, which is why I was leery of buying this as I was afraid the compression at the top of the sleeve would be too tight as opposed to someone with a more slender ankle. It wasn't the case. I can comfortably wear this all day and it helps with the pain I have on the heel of my foot and back of the ankle. I've had this for a while now, and wash it every other day or so. It dries overnight very well, and has not lost it's compression factor over many wearings. I wear a woman's 9C to give you an idea of who this might fit.

I was looking for an ankle brace with support, I have rolled my ankles several times during runs causing severe swelling and bruising. I am not one to be down for long so I needed something to add more support. I also need them for swimming because this is were I experience most of my pain post injury. I was competing in a triathlon and really wanted them for the event. I first found this product on their Sure Sport site. Of course I checked Amazon for better pricing. On the Sure Sport site they said I needed an XS. According to Amazon web site I needed to order a size S/M. I read reviews that said they ran small so I trusted Amazon. They were too big. In the package it said to return the product I would have to call their 1-800 #. I called twice, answering machine saying they were not available and gave me options to leave a message. I left a message once. No return call. I decided to order the XS to have them in time for the event. I received them the night before so I did not have time to train with them. I used them anyway. I was not impressed, they were too loose on my leg, too tight on my foot, the compression where I needed it, at the ankle was just "ok". As for the S/M pair I gave them to my mom. She loves them. I am a shoe size 6.5 and she is a 6.5 wide. I have them on right now and decide to try them upside down and they feel pretty good! I am going to take them out for a spin. I will let you know.

I am glad these supports helped other people but they hurt my feet. I have pf in both feet for 2 years now. I have tryed everything, not just once but long periods of time. My doctor says I am a expert. I did find one thing that allows me to stand, walk, and bike. That one thing is to tape both feet. I wanted these socks to work and maybe relieve me from taping my feet. But they made my pf hurt more. They are now in my closet next to numerous other items that failed.

Best $ I ever spent! This little sock is amazing, as soon as I put it on the first time I felt immediate relief. I have compression socks....but they have nothing on this little baby. The most amazing part is that it is actually making my plantar fasciitis go away. I have had PF for 9 months and nothing has worked except this sleeve! I've recommended to everyone I know with plantar fasciitis! AND it has not toes! It's so comfortable and I can wear with flip flops around house and even sleep with (hot sleeper).

It's not cheaply made, looks exactly as advertised, but it did absolutely nothing to help my plantar fasciitis. I tried wearing while walking and while sleeping--didn't notice the difference between this and my regular socks in terms of benefits.

This was a purchase for my wife. She suffers from wearing clog-style shoes for years and heels, and developed Plantar Fasciitis. We've been looking for ways to help eliminate that pain, and we discovered this foot sleeve. It does help when she wears it all day. I am no doctor, but a word of advice: look into these types of sleeves and the foot braces that apply pressure at the toe area to help pull and relieve that pain. With these sleeves sometimes while she sleeps and after work, and the brace for an hour a day, she no longer suffers from that horrible pain.
