To be clear, this is the second set of these mats that i have ordered. After purchasing a workout benchI realized that I need a larger mat to accommodate it I ordered another set to double the size of my mat that way. It worked--the puzzle pieces are modular and therefore allow expansion. There are different end pieces that create smooth seamless edge. As indicated in the description the mat is 1" think, comfortable to work out on barefoot and to do floor exercises. Given that I workout with flex weights it also adds a layer of security by softening the impact of dropped weights. My only beed with this mat has been the rather pungent "rubbery" smell that lingered for about a week. Fortunately it dissipates after a while. Perhaps useful to know--a mat consisting of a single set (6 pieces) of puzzles is easy to lift up--it doesn't come apart when you put it against a wall. Useful if you do not have an exclusive workout space.

Great product for working out and exercising. Purchased 4 sets for 96sq.ft. Need one more mat to have a 10’x10’ square area. Would recommend for yoga, stretching, wrestling, jujitsu and light work outs with weights. Would not recommend to leave weights sitting directly on the mats as they are softer than expected (Not recommended for deadlifting or heavy squatting since your feet do sink slightly into mats). They do bounce back and return to form but over a long period of time they may lose shape and deform. Easy to assemble, be aware that you have to rotate and flip pieces during assembly to make them fit as there are 2 different attachment sides. Same for attaching outer straight pieces, there’s 2 different pieces. Overall very satisfied with these mats after using them for a few days, will purchase again to make a larger area.

I stuck a regular foam mat in beside them so you can see the difference, but even before doing that, I could see that these mats are monsters! I have no doubt that these will reduce the sound for my downstairs neighbour when I'm doing a HIIT workout in my apartment. I've only given them 4* for now cuz I haven't taken them out of the box yet to see if that pattern mismatch still exists. Someone commented that you can't unsee that stuff and you really can't, so I'm a bit leary at this point. Will update when I know more... Oh and I bought each set for C$57.24 during the Black Friday sales. The price didn't drop during Prime Days that I remember...

These are being used in my workout area. They were delivered in one day. They are so much thicker than anything I’ve ever used. I am in my late sixties and I used to have to use a mat on top of the previous foam flooring to help my joints during work outs. This is the only flooring I need now. The pattern provides great traction. I placed my weight rack on top and the floor doesn’t move at all. I bought six black and six grey. Well worth the money. Took me about 30 minutes to assemble by myself. HINT: Before you start, remove the edges from all of them. They aren’t all the same. Exercise patience.
