All small flashlights I've bought in the past few years have soon stopped working. Can anyone recommend one that is a good, strong light that lasts?

We have two small 4 or 5 inch Eveready flashlights that work with three AAA batteries. They have been very versatile, reliable and handy and still working on the original batteries that came with the flashlight

what is the size of the battery tube? I want to mount it.

the who flashlight is 3 1/2' long. battery section is 2" long and about 1" across (size of C battery. The on/off is a push button switch on the battery end of the flashlight. Depending on what you are mounting it to/on it could be difficult to turn on and off
