This plugs in firmly. The cable is good for laptop use. With a tower PC you may want a USB3 extender. When plugged into a USB3 socket, the performance of this unit feels like a regular HDD drive. I have a 250 GigByte SDXC ultra card 2/3rds full. It downloads 50 Gig from my NAS onto the SD card over a 5G WiFi in only a minute or so., & copies a 4 GigB zip file from my hard disk to the SD card in 45-50 secs. This card reader performs really well! I've plugged it into several different PCs, & it works flawlessly.

Works great. Transfer is a little slow - PC to card, compared to a much more expensive reader l bought that doesn't read CF cards, but it got the job done. I use it for transferring files from my Fuji DSLR camera which l really like, and an older DigiTech Jamman looper pedal. I have found l have less problems with CF cards than with cheap SD cards, and expensive ones. It's plastic and you don't have to push the card in very far for it to connect, but if you don't abuse it l suspect it will hold up for a long time. Did a great job reading SD cards too. For $10 well worth it. Would buy again in a heartbeat. Good seller, fast ship, and a good product. Highly recommend.

This is a good device. It reads all the new and relatively new memory cards, and it can connect directly to most phones via usb c. However, it does NOT read my older sony memory sticks from pre 2010.

I picked up this BENFEI 4-in-1 USB 3.0 / USB-C card reader and so far it’s delivered. It reliably reads and writes SD, MicroSD, MS and CF cards — great for when I’m working with different devices. I tested it on a newer laptop (USB-C) and a desktop (USB-A) and it worked without a hitch. Nice bonus: being able to use multiple cards at once is super convenient. Overall, a dependable adapter that gets the job done at a reasonable price.

Good price , works as advertized. Plugs into any USB port on any device that doesn't have a built in SD card reader. I use it on my laptop. Can read several different card types besides SD.

Using it to run a bunch of cards through and they're all reading and writing well. It's fast enough and I haven't noticed any issues with it while using it. Nice that it's not huge.

Produit exceptionnel et pas cher comparé à d'autres similaires, fait parfaitement son job, vitesse de lecture et écriture rapide, fonctionne comme un disque supplémentaire sur smartphones, tablettes Android et Apple. Dans mon cas à moi cela me permet de transférer ou de vérifier des photos venant d'appareil photo pro, et des rushes vidéo de caméra, c'est vraiment le couteau Suisse pour les cartes SD et Micro SD à avoir toujours dans son sac. Je le recommande absolument car il est efficace et pas cher par rapport à la concurrence. le seul bémol à prendre en compte c'est que comme il est sans câble allonge ce qui aurait été la bienvenue avec, c'est si vos prises USB sont très proches sur votre ordi (un macBookPro 13 pouce M1 dans mon cas) je suis obligé de débrancher l'alimentions USB pendant que j'utilise le lecteur de carte.
