I am in the process of creating flash drives for each of my three kids, using a Wand Scanner to do the job. This scanner uses a miniSD card and the only way I was able to transfer the pictures to my computer was to insert it in the adaptor, then place the adaptor in my digital camera and connect that to the computer. Too many steps! I decided to try this card reader and it works like a dream! I simply placed the adapter in the slot on the card reader and, when ready to transfer a day's work, place the miniSD card in the adaptor then get cracking on doing the transfer! It's not only a time saver, it's also very efficient. Not only is the price very reasonable, I'll be able to use it with other sized memory cards, as well, which makes it economical. Once I'm finished with this particular massive project, I'll be keeping it safely in a plastic case I purchased separately and keeping it in the drawer of my computer center. Needless to say, it's extremely portable, but I wouldn't transport it without using that small plastic case. The cable length is also perfect...not too long or too short; Goldilocks herself would approve! I highly recommend this item.

Works great and gets the job done, weights nothing so easy travel, very fast and easy installation

Good product but did end up breaking on me after about a year of having it so got another. Works well with my iPad for my photos.

Great product. Not limited, will read 4 different memory cards. Fits standard USB-A and USB-C plugs. Used to transfer photos from my phone to memory cards to release storage. Extremely easy to use.

I have a dashcam camera in my Toyota. I had a hard time using the Toyota apps to view the videos on the SIM card. I purchased the card reader, placed the SIM card into it and was able to view all my videos. It is a great product for the money.

Good product for the money that’s what it should

I picked this up thinking I was about to finally get my desk setup under control, like one clean move and suddenly I’m the kind of person with organized cables and a sense of peace. As someone who deals with way too many devices, cards, and random adapters, this looked like an easy win for consolidating everything into one neat hub. Setup was straightforward, no weird drivers or nonsense, and it worked immediately with most of my stuff, which I appreciated. The build itself feels decent, not premium but not flimsy either, and it sits nicely without sliding around like it’s trying to escape. Most of the slots do exactly what they’re supposed to do, and for basic use it genuinely makes things more convenient. Transfer speeds were solid enough for everyday tasks, and I didn’t run into any major lag or disconnect issues. For a moment, I thought I had found one of those rare “plug it in and forget it” accessories. I even started trusting it, which in tech terms is always a risky emotional decision. Then one of the slots decided it simply does not believe in compatibility, despite the fact that the cards I’m using should absolutely work. I tested multiple cards, reseated them, tried different ports, and that one slot just refuses to cooperate like it has a personal grudge. The rest of the device continues to function normally, which somehow makes it more frustrating because it’s so close to being great. It turns what should be a smooth workflow into a small but persistent annoyance where I have to remember which slot is the problem child. For someone who likes things to just work consistently, that kind of inconsistency stands out more than it should. It’s not a total dealbreaker since the other slots still do the job, but it definitely knocks down the overall reliability. If all the slots worked as advertised, this would easily be a higher rating. As it stands, it feels like a mostly good solution with one stubborn flaw that keeps reminding you it exists. I’ll keep using it, but I’m doing so with a very specific level of trust now.
