KLZ_KLZ 150 ft. Hose Reel Cart and Hideaway

I Have had this for over a year now with absolutely no problems. We live on an acre and dragging around a hose is terrible and at 75 yrs old it’s recommended, lol! It rolls around perfectly, easy to use, and the price was very reasonable! I’m buying another one for the front yard!

Wow, I bought this hose reel cart 4 years ago and it’s still working well. We just replaced the short hose that connects it to the faucet this year. You have to put your foot on it’s “foot” to steady it while winding and its wheels are small so it kind of drags around but most importantly, it winds fine and holds 100 ft of hose. It was easy enough for me to assemble. I’m sure it was worth the money.

I’ve never had so much issues with a hose reel. Putting it together was fine but winding it the hose would never stay in position it would fling everywhere. The reel itself is super flimsy and wobbles all over. Once the hose was wound after it set a few days and the water drained for some reason when trying to unwrap it kinks everywhere and knots trying to unravel. It wasn’t my hose either as I’ve tried it filled with water so it wouldn’t kink and no water at all it was so frustrating. Last night it took me and my wife 30 minutes just to unravel all of the kinks and knots to pull it out of the reel and just unhook it all.

Decent hose reel. Does the job. Easily hold my 100' hose, but I'd bet 150' would be pushing it. Simple set up. Comes with everything you need. Minor wobble when you're winding up quickly, as with others I've used over the years. Doesn't feel like it's going to snap in the process though. Brand received was Suncast. Made in USA. Note that package arrived from Walmart.com, where this item ships free for lower price. Seller is just marking it up a bit and listing here. Pretty much worth it just to not have to create a whole new Walmart.com account.

Please note. This review is based on the packaging and condition and quality of the product. I should have checked the seller first before ordering. The box arrived opened and partially taped with Walmart tape. Must have been a return. The connector from the hose on the reel to the hose connection to the house is made of plastic that will most likely not last long. We had a similar reel from the same manufacturer and this plastic piece cracked after 3 years of use. And so we are hoping for at least that amount of longevity of this product. A couple of the fins that keep the hose on the reel were slightly warped. The reel seem to wind fine and seem to have the original labeling and hose zip tied to the reel. We are going to try and see how well it does. I sure wish they had a model with a metal connector that was replaceable. We will see how this one goes.

I bought this cart in the fall, so it pretty much sat all winter. I started using it in springtime, and shortly after (April), the attachment connected to the hose cracked, and the hose that comes with it came off. The cart is perfectly fine... like new but this one little fixture broke. I reached out for help, but the seller would not sell the replacement and said I needed to repurchase the entire cart. If this broke years down the road, I would for sure do it. But the fact that this little piece broke so soon shows me this is a poorly made product, and I would never purchase it again. I would purchase the small attachment, as it should be a few dollars and an easy piece to sell. If the seller only sells the entire unit, then I would think they should probably make a product or stand by a product that is of better quality and doesn't break after a few months. ALSO, communicating with the seller was awful. Just canned responses, no support, no solutions. Just... "buy another one". I would definitely suggest anyone AVOID PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT if you want something to last longer than a season.
