Great Workout, very happy with this game!
I absolutely love this game! I originally bought it because i was getting tired of the same old treadmill routine every day and wanted something that would switch it up. I had tried workout videos and kept them up for a week and then lost interested. I love how this game will change it up every day so youre not doing the same thing. One of the things i was skeptical about was if this game was actually going to work. Believe me, this game on a daily basis kicks my butt! Im finding muscles sore that i didnt even know i had! hahaHere are some of the other things i really liked about the game:1.) You don't need to have a balance board to use this game! - One of the reasons i had been turned off from getting the wii fit was because of the balance board. it might just be my stubbornness but i had a real issue with spending $50 on a agame and then dropping more money on top of that for a balance board. I love that this game gives you the option of working out with or without the balance board.2.) 30 day challenge. - I really am finding the 30 day challenge useful. One of the reasons i wanted to get a more interactive game is because i had plateaud just running on the treadmill at the gym. i knew i had to switch up my workouts but i didnt know how. The 30 day challenge feature is great because not only does it switch up the exercises you do from day to day (keeping you from getting bored) but it also allows you to choose what level, easy medium or hard, you want to do every day.3.) Preset and custom workouts. - I love this feature. It's great because you can choose from a preset workout and it tells you easily how long, what the workout includes and how many calories you are going to burn. The custom workout feature is great because if you want to focus on 1 thing you can choose just those exercises. And again it tells you how long it will be and how many calories you will burn.4.) Tracking and Goal Setting - I really like everything they have setup for tracking your progress. You can fill out a daily journal that you can enter food, water and sweets intake for the day. its great because at the end of 30 days (or however long you want) you can graph it and see how youve been doing. I liked it for example because i was trying to cut down on coffee intake and it showed me how well i did over the month. Also the goals are a great motivator and are easily changed. As you can tell i really like all of the features this game presents. The only thing i dont like about the game is that sometimes the remotes can be picky sensing movements.Hope this was helpful!

Loving This!!
I have only tried one day of this program but I already love it!I am not a newcomer to workouts - I own 30+ Tae Bo videos, Jillian Michaels workouts, and random other workout videos, when I bike my average distance is 8 miles, and I work out 3-5 days a week on average (depending on time availability). I purchased this program over the Wii Fit because I heard it was more intense - and it is! I sweat and worked as hard as I do with a Tae Bo video - it's very effective. They have a 30 day challenge in which they make customized workouts based on your weight/height and intensity preference, and I'm really excited for it. You get trophies as you go along and they set goals for you, and from what I've read online you can add in your other workouts that you do outside of it and it takes those into consideration. I have to explore it more. You get a leg band that the nunchuck goes into for a lot of exercises and it was a WORKOUT! I do Tae Bo and other workout videos on a regular basis, and when I bike my average distance is about 8 miles...so it's not like I'm a beginner. I definitely sweat as much as I do when I do my typical workout video, and I'm definitely has sore! And I'm not sure how Wii Fit is but they constantly check your posture and how you're doing things...when you do squats they have a meter on the side so you can see how much further you should go, or where you're at. Today they have me set up for tennis and something else - it's supposed to alternate your workouts so you're not using one muscle group over and over - yesterday was a bit of everything to get me into it - I'm really interested to see how the full thing is structured. You run on a track and if you're "mii" (a real person like The Sims, not the typical Mii) isn't going fast enough it blinks at you...I was running and screaming at the screen, lol. The worst was rollerblading - you had to squat low - the lower the faster you went, and then you had to jump off these ramps. What a workout! They give you beginner resistance bands, which I didn't even bother with - I have better ones from the store and I'm using those (as I've found from the reviews most people do). You can wrap them around your hands to give you more resistance as well - the handstraps for mine are a bit bulky so it was tough trying to maneuver those and the controller and nunchuck, but I got the hang of it.Like I said, I've only done this for one day and I'm already completely sold. It's a great product and if you're new to working out, it'll definitely get you into shape and give you ideas on what you should be doing. If you're experienced, you don't have to worry about this being under you, you'll still benefit from it.
