Fantastic book. This was the second book I received that covers building drones. My first book I thought was great, this book is far better getting into more details about all of the necessary hardware and software. This book also details how to build a drone for photography, mini drone, and a fixed wing drone. This book describes how to use different different specs of the multiple options for drone use. I highly recommend this book for anyone that is interested in learning the anatomy of drones, and how to implement different options. I have built my own drone prior to receiving this book and it provided a different (valuable) perspective, as well as clarified questions I developed about components that I wasn't completely familiar with.

The book was used but excellent condition. The info in the book is great. Especially if you're just starting to learn about drones and how the operate. Illustrated configurations and why. Pros and cons of each type.

Loved this book!!! The tech manuals are just as useful as the car manuals. Includes step by step instructions on how to bulid a quad copter.

I find this workshop manual to be very useful. This is one of the bests I read among another 4 of drone books.

Good reading

It's okay in typical Haynes manual style. However, it lacks detail, photography not particularly good or sharp in areas and certainly lacks detail in relation to commercial drones. Good for the amateur and the drone racer.

I wanted to try building some drones but felt I don't know enough about all the options. This book provides excellent information on a few types of drones and answers all the questions a beginner might normally have. There are descriptions of numerous parts and there are detailed instructions on assembly of a few types of drones. It's very well written, well organized and easy to follow. It compares different options very well so you know what you need to achieve what you want.

Very well organized. Plenty of photos to display the process. A great book to understand the fundamentals of drone design.

Logical and clear with lots of pictures although haven't started building yet. Discusses Legislation - UK not US which is good.
