Adhesive Remover Low VOC <20%, Net Wt 18.7 oz

I'll admit that nearly $40 is a lot of money for a spray can. But, it works, and it works very well. I have a 12" disc sander that I inherited 5 years ago and has been sitting, and the adhesive on the platten I believe has been there much longer. I tried alcohol and acetone with razor blades to remove the old adhesive with dismal results. I sprayed this on and let it set hardly five minutes, and the old adhesive scraped off with ease, like magic. This is sorcery in a can. There were a couple thick spots and needed a second application, but those came off easily also. I did not remove the platten from the motor so this was done in its normal vertical position, and this product is somewhat thin and will run and drip. If I had removed the platten and done this on a flat surface, I think the penetration would be improved and perhaps may not have needed a second application on the thick areas. I would certainly recommend this. It didn't take much spray, and I have a lot leftover for future needs.

Great product on the expensive side, but definitely needed

Great product, I was able to get all the adhesive off my Tacoma's hood, and the can still contains more than half. My vehicle had that stupid film (Toyoguard) When I bought it, the film went bad with the sun hitting it daily for 8 years, it was horrible to get off! Thanks to this product it was relatively easy. Just be careful try to keep the product off any plastic or trim it might have landed on because it will eat it.

Very impressed, this stuff is borderline magical. I recovered a car dash with vinyl and used 3M adhesive, then needed to remove the bottom half and it was completely covered with adhesive that did not want to come off. Sprayed this on, left it 2-3 minutes, and adhesive wiped right off. Highly recommend!

We're conflicted about this product. We had some tape residue left on our boat after using T-Rex underwater capable tape. That stuff is awesome but is extremely difficult to remove the residue when you remove the tape. We tried almost everything even calling the tape manufacturer who happily provided useless advice (it simply didn't work). So we went straight to the top and invested a somewhat vast sum to buy a can of this 3M Adhesive Remover. It actually did work in the initial test area! But...only until the nozzle broke in half rendering the expensive can, still 4/5ths full, completely useless and had to be thrown away (ouch). Rather than invest in another can (Did I mentioned how expensive this stuff is?) we decided to just live with the tape residue. We simply avoid looking at that side of our boat, LOL.

I needed something to remove the adhesive left behind from automotive decals. They had been on the vehicle for quite some time and were baked on from the sun. After removing the decals and of course I used a heat gun to make it easier, there was a lot of adhesive left behind. I tried WD40, Simple Green, GooGone, none of them worked great. Googone, did help, but the 3M Adhesive remover worked far better than the others. I highly recommend this product as it is very effective and did damage the vehicle paint.

Works amazing, always spot check first bought some plastic razors to complement the cleanup but a rag also helps
