Life changing!
Had a grade 2 Medial Collateral Ligament tear in early January. My Orthopaedic consultant advised me to get a knee brace. I got a more expensive hinged knee brace for walking, and this for at night when I was sleeping. (When I got a lot of my pain, as I sleep on my side putting stress on the remaining ligament) Unfortunately I found the hinged brace too uncomfortable to wear as it irritated the back of the knee. This one however was comfortable to wear and gave me all the support I needed. It stopped the partial dislocations I would suffer, and virtually stopped the night pain. The worsening pain I was suffering quickly resolved, and by preventing the partial dislocations it allowed the ligament to tighten back and stabilised my knee again. For me it’s been life changing, the physio alone wasn’t helping much, but when this was added, there was a rapid improvement in my pain levels and stability. Mine was a pure MCL rupture, the later MRI confirmed that there was no meniscal or ACL involvement that the Consultant feared. So while it proved to be the perfect brace for my knee, you should take advice if this is the right one for your injury. I’ve also only been using this for about 6 weeks, so can’t comment on the longer term durability (I’ve previously used an elbow brace which while was fantastic initially the Velcro started to become ineffective after 2 months) but so far so good!

Comfortable support for everyday stability, as long as the sizing is right
This knee brace gives a supportive, secure feel without being overly bulky. I’ve used it for [walking / light exercise / day-to-day chores] and it adds a noticeable bit of stability, especially if your knee sometimes feels weak or achy. The open patella design sits comfortably around the kneecap area and doesn’t feel like it’s pressing directly on the front of the knee, which I prefer for longer wear. The neoprene material gives a bit of warmth and compression, which can feel supportive, particularly in cooler weather. It stays in place reasonably well for me, although that’s heavily dependent on sizing. If it’s even slightly too big it can shift, and if it’s too small it can feel tight behind the knee or start to roll. Measuring properly is the key to getting the benefit without discomfort. It can also get warm if you wear it for a long stretch, which is normal with neoprene, so I’d recommend taking it off occasionally if you feel sweaty. Overall it’s a solid support for mild discomfort or added confidence during activity, but it’s not a replacement for medical advice if you have a serious knee issue.

Knee support
I have only been wearing it for 1 week. So far so good. It's a perfect fit, so true to size. Velcro is still good. I can feel a difference with it on. It makes my knee feel much more secure which eases some of the pain.

Really good, really supportive
This was great. I have ligament problems in my knee and this helped me get walking again. It's got nice long straps so easy to use, n the Velcro was good quality. It was a bit hot at times, as it's synthetic fabric. Washed well. Only problems I had really was being asked to remove it for security reasons.
