The batteries get drained every 2-3 weeks
The batteries get trained after a few weeks even with minimal utilization. It seems like the circuit is always on regardless on whether it looks turned on or if you are using it.

Never wonder if meats are cooked to your liking, can't do without it. Could be a little easier to read make numbers a little larger but does the job, does identify types of meats. The price is right.

Originally reviewed this as a 5 as it worked really well. It only has 1 yr warranty and lasted 14 months. In saying that, it was probably only used about 10 times
