My son uses it for his punching bag. It is mounted to the ceiling 2x4 cross beam in our garage. Reduces the noise and vibration.

This is mounted in my garage gym and I dig it. It's pricey but worth it as I can beat the snot out of my bag and my old garage isn't in danger of collapsing. I could see this as a must inside a house though as it really does mitigate the transfer of the impact to the mounting structure. great product.

Love this product! It was easy to install and works great. I especially like the built-in shock absorber which limits the vibration to the joists (floor upstairs). A well engineered product and worth the money.

I beat my 100lb muay thai heavy bag like a rented mule hanging from this and it holds with no problem. I work the heavy bag like a day job and don't notice any shaking of the garage, lights, or joists. I kick the bag like a bad habit while it's hanging from this and still it holds. I report, you decide, but I'm telling you this product is cooler than the other side of the pillow. I know what your thinking, this is the best review ever... you're welcome.

Hung this in the basement under the living room floor. Other bag hangers causes significant vibrations in the upstairs floor, this one however cuts down on nearly all the vibrations and noise.
