Prime-Line E 2125 Keeper, for Use with Vinyl-Styled Sliding Glass Doors, Die Cast, Zinc Plated, 4-1/4" x 15/32"

Fit perfectly- I used 2 of these instead of buying a more expensive double mortise keeper. Worked like a charm.

This item was delivered from Canada, which was pleasing as tracking this item down has not been easy. It is a replacement for my patio doors that are 15 years old and were installed by Sears. Previously I could only find the item for sale by a Chinese company and my package was lost by Canada Post or a large DIY store in the U.S that does not deliver to Canada. Easy to fit as I only had to remove the broken door keeper and replace it with the new part. Fast delivery. Pleased.

The product is great and was relatively easy to install. The only problem is it requires few washers to set it properly for the door hook (or whatever the mechanism is that latches on the keeper) to latch on. First I installed it without the washers and the hook wouldn't latch on and then I added three washers each (please don't ask me about the thickness of the washers, whatever I found in my pile) and screwed it on and the door hook latched on and works nicely. The manufacturer should include few washers or other spacers to help with this as I am sure I am not the only one to face this issue. Hence my reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise it'd have been a five star.

Worked well for my patio door.
