Works over night by adding water to the intestine. This is not a stimulant. It is senna free so you will not get a gut boil or have to run to the bathroom. It use to only take 1 at night but I think the company changed the formula. Me and 5 other people I know that take this say the same thing that you have to take 2 now. That's disappointing. We all have been using this formula for over ten years. I owned 2 vitamins stores and this was a top seller. I still love it. I just which it was the original formula! It also has ingredients in it that sooth the bowel! I recommend this product. Its better to poo 2-3 times a day than to carry that in your colon and fester harmful bacteria!
